Re: RIP To Those Departed - Rob Burrow
Not a fan of rugby and have never followed it but I've heard of Rob Burrow mainly after he was diagnosed with that dreadful disease and with regard to his brave battle raising awareness of it. A special human being. May he rest in peace

Re: Summer transfer and squad discussion
We have 3 director's of playing staff in some capacity (Steinnsen, Hammond, Miles). They'll all be tasked with doing the hard work on the signings. And we know from what we've seen that Farke will have drawn up the plans of what he wants and will have the final say. I wasn't aware of that. I think ...

Everton 'assessing options' as 777 miss takeover deadline Everton say they will "assess all options for future ownership" after the deadline for the sale of the club to 777 Partners expired. The US-based consortium agreed to buy majority owner Farhad Moshiri's 94% stake in the club in Sep...

Re: Summer transfer and squad discussion
Lots of changes imminent, I suspect. I'm confident the wheels will be in motion now, which would be early for Leeds going from our previous transfer activity in years gone by. Marathe mentioned other clubs had a month start on us last season, I would say one year as our club was in turmoil. Hopeful...

Everton interested in signing Kalvin Phillips according to sky loan deal Well it isn't as if there was a parade of suiters for his services is it? However, KP might compound his career errors which have landed him on the slippery slope if he decides to join the pot-less Chancers on merseyside. I do...

I don't lose sight of the fact that there were two others in creating the unholy mess - Radrizanni who apparently was oblivious to the vandalism being perpetrated in his own house and Kinnear, who appears to be deaf, blind and mute.

Re: Kristoffer Klaesson
Meslier is still on his learning curve and whilst it might be likely that he will leave he is really not yet a Premiership level goalkeeper IMHO. Meslier would do for me for another season in the Championship if he wants to stay or LUFC decide to keep him. Neither possibility is a certainty. If inde...

Re: Cheating saints robbed us of injury time
Cheating Saints? I don't think so. Can't quibble at the scoreline. They played on the counter, got their noses in front through a horrible mistake at the back, Meslier made a fantastic save to stop us going further behind, and then the rest of the match, we were pedestrian, lacked any creativity, ha...

Both look like Hail Mary punts to me. Time will tell but I'm happy that it is all happening over there and not in our housementalcase wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 8:57 pm Kompany might be better with better players to choose from, massive difference between Bayern or Burnley.
Mckenna might be the next Potter.

Re: Jesse Marsch- New Canada manager
We buy in all the players he wants, and then he has this to say. “It was very financially a mess and it made then managing everything very difficult. But I decided to take that on and I tried to do the best I could with it. It was a mess before I got there and shortly after I left it was a mess aga...

Re: Brenden Aaronson- Return from loan confirmed
Same here, Wober wouldn't add anything to what we already have in DF's style, i've always said this re Wober, he is a decent defender, but not for the modern game and what's required bringing it out. I haven't totally given up on Aaronson, but like Mes, he needs to get in the gym for upper body str...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 16th May) 49ers tell Bundesliga outfit to stump up £15m for star
So Borussia Monchengladbach believe the 49ers valuation is ludicrously high? Well there might be a bit of wriggle room I suppose for the 49rs but Borussia have a choice of looking for players more in keeping with their budget! So I think Daniel Farke will show what sort of manager he is tonight - if...
