Re: Golf Thread

When Rory’s in this sort of form he’s just about unbeatable. You could see it in the Zurich pairs tournament when he literally carried Shane Lowry to victory. In 2014 he won The Open, Bridgestone, USPGA in a row. He’ll do it again this week and I would definitely put money on as I did last week. Val...

Re: Golf Thread

Rory won the last time the USPGA was at Valhalla in 2014.
He’d won the previous week at Bridgestone.
History repeating itself?

Re: Norwich Away - Post Match Thread

Can't really win though How often does VAR get moaned about in the Prem? Every decision scrutinised. Even offside isn't universally agreed on. Personally until its a pretty flawless system I'd rather not have it. Well yes but that’s because football is a knuckle dragging idiot. The most retarded sp...

Re: Norwich Away - Post Match Thread

We've had hand ball goals given, offside goals given, off side goals disallowed against us that shouldn't have been. Have we had some bad decisions? Absolutely We've benefited plenty of times as well. It's not an accurate statement to say we'd have been promoted with VAR because a whole league of t...

If we’ve had 12 letters how many have other teams had? No context as usual.

Like Clacton White said “spear throwers & knuckle draggers”. Well he was referring to Suffolk but I think they’re a little more caveman in Norfolk.

Great news Kev 👍🏼
She looks lovely.
Must be a great feeling to re-home a dog. So many of them out there need some love.

Re: Golf Thread

Rory only 1 back of Soufflé now. He’ll win as he loves that track (3 wins there I think) and Xander is a bit of a bottle jockey.
I call him Soufflé as he rises and then fold’s disappointingly when you put the fork in.

Re: Horse Racing News.

Ouch, that's pretty steep. DR do a £12.50 special, which gets you in, a beer and a burger. Extra for the posh lounges, but I'm happy track side with the great unwashed! 😁 It’s the May meeting so it’s priced accordingly. Derby & Oaks trials so decent racing. Such a unique track. Definitely worth...

Re: Horse Racing News.

 thanks, Jay; again, it's hard to gauge from the pictures. I was telling Leon I do the same at Down Royal. Take the dog out for a walk then find a vantage point for a free bit of racing. I also pay in on many occasions, just to dispel any notions that I'm a tight git!! Don’t blame you. Lots of...

Re: Horse Racing News.

No worries, Jay, so were you 3-4 furlongs out? That bend were looking down on is about 2 furlongs out Nick. That’s where they start the 2m2f Chester Cup. The track is a mile in circumference. So the 5 furlong start is directly the other side of the track from where we were on the wall. Permanently ...
