Re: Loan Watch

Borussia Mönchengladbach are keen to keep Max Wober but our asking price which is reported to be £15mil is beyond them. “We are having discussions with everyone involved. Of course, we would like to keep Max with us,” explains sporting director Roland Virkus. “But (Leeds) demands are extremely high...

I’m no electrician, but I’m thinking that if you put a telly in the bathroom you won’t be needing a portable defibrillator.

Re: Scottish Football Thread

A scare for Rangers last night as they recovered from a two-goal deficit to beat Dundee and avoid an Ibrox embarrassment, while also prolonging Celtic’s wait to be crowned Premiership champions. That didn’t stop the Union Bears section of the crowd walking out. Imagine the South Stand emptying tomo...

Now I don’t want to start any malicious rumours ….

Kemar Roofe is being released by Rangers. Apparently one full 90 minutes in a complete season isn’t good enough for a number 9.

Old Jesse will have plenty of time for wind and gas in between matches as he can talk platitudes and crap sufficient to be competing for the World Cup. He is the updated American version of Ally McLeod, Manager of the Scotland team that went for a quick visit to Argentina in 1978!  I’m w...

Fireworks shows a certain lack of imagination. If Leeds were to respond in kind, what would be an appropriate response?
If size of club were an indicator, then Norwich would be a damp squib, to Leeds mini nuke

You know, you're right. So much less stress with Wakey in the Championship. I was really worried last year about them being relegated. But we have a new owner who is Wakey through and through. We have the re-build of Belle Vue, we've sold out season tickets and the fans are loving it, it's just on ...

Re: Norwich away - Post match thread

About as much excitement as a five day test match, but the purists will no doubt say a job well done. If that is the case it makes me wonder why bother with two leg semi finals? It only benefits the team who came a fabulous sixth place.

Apart from gate revenue and tv money, obviously.

This will be my last post for 90 minutes minimum. I’m going to adopt the stance of the hindsighted wise. Ie wait until the game is over then point accusatory fingers at those posters who dared to criticise anything they might have witnessed.
