Re: Patrick Bamford- Will miss playoff semi final

Rob Price had a patchy record before he arrived. Maybe he is the issue? Seems a recurring theme. I blame the stewards and ball boys, on the basis that the forum is running out of options to scrutinise. Are the stewards and ball boys slowing our build up play down if the ball goes out for a throw in...

You are speaking for yourself on that issue, I am still as sharp and bright as a button. Incidentally, what was the score from the first leg, I cannot find the matchday thread.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 10th May) Norwich star charged with drink driving days before Play off Semi-Final

Very few will offer an opinion on Ayling, many wanted him out the door and yet praise Firpo on a regular basis. I am no mathematician but I suspect Ayling has done a far better job in the fullback role since the New year. Pound for pound wages wise I bet he also represented better value. But he woul...

Not sure there is much ammo. Getting pished and crashing a rather expensive car amounts to Kudos in Football land.

It is one of the lesser evils that the over paid feckers get up to.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 9th May) Norwich told to be brave against 'flaky' Leeds

I've resigned myself to us losing the playoffs, on current form we've no chance. Summerville and Gnonto will be difficult to replace we'd have been nowhere without Cree this season. I'm sill not completely convinced with Archie though he is very young . Under normal circumstances Archie would not h...

Happy Birthday you cantankerous old git.

I have done a few marathons over the years - I did the Leeds Trimaco ( I think that is what is was called donkeys years ago) if I tried to do one now my aim would to finish before they opened the route to traffic.

I was hoping you might have had a thread for Twister or Beer Pong.

I can’t really assist with the listed options. Besides I am shocking from an administrative perspective.

Re: Norwich pre match chat

I agree. Firpo would be more suited to the home leg when we're expected to be more attack minded. I'd play Roberts at RB and Byram at LB and keep Rodon and Ampadu together. I understand people calling for Cooper for his experience but his legs have gone imo. He looked like he was running in treacle...

Re: Post an interesting video.

There is a good YouTube spoof video involving the impressionist who does footballers doing a Farke interview. Lots of “unbelievably hard” euphemisms. I cannot link on this device.

Re: Norwich pre match chat

I'm also pondering captain Cooper martialing the back line with Amps into midfield. More importantly players need to be played in their favoured positions. Lastly, keeping Gnonto on the right for longer will prevent the Norwich defence from ganging up on Jimmy down the left. Huge call bringing in C...

Re: Georginio Rutter-

Bamford has to start. Joseph did nothing in the 35 minutes he was on as a sub against the Saints, not his fault as the whole team were poor! Let's face it, as a team we've become worse without Paddy, his experience is clearly required now. If Bamford is fit I am pretty certain DF will select him. B...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 7th May) Former Chelsea forward on Leeds radar

Can you imagine what the likes of Bremner, Charlton and Hunter would have done if they were asked to play in pink !! To be fair the yellow strip only came about due to all the cigarette smoke in the dressing room. So if the pink strip was used by that 60/70’s team they would have walked out wearing...

Re: Georginio Rutter-

Rutter has 1. Has been clattered week in week out, that has to take a toll on the body 2. Played more games in a season than ever before 3. Had surgery No wonder he is gubbed Im wondering if the reason that Piroe hasnt had as good a season as we needed is because Rutter has? Was the reason that DF ...

Re: Southampton post match discussion

I'm very concerned if this is cause for the loss of our form. May just be coincidental. The fact that none of the other players celebrated could be down to the fact that they were probably aware that Ipswich were already ahead. Sometimes folk see what they want to see. I am not ruling the possibili...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 6th April) Weary Leeds lose to Saints

Play offs induce a different psychology than a league game. It is effectively a cup semi final, albeit over two legs. The fact we beat them twice in the league should give the team confidence, but it does not mean a great deal as an outlier. The players need to be brave on the ball and want it more ...

Re: Southampton post match discussion

This thread has some heavy reading. There is a very good post match analysis by Ger on YouTube for the Southampton game. He was at the match and provides some insightful observation's. I like his analysis it is a realistic perspective IMO from a content provider who actually has a coaching background.
