Don’t think James start to the season is due to a lack of fitness.
He’s just a very very average player

Re: Mateo Joseph
Pretty certain we will regret not having got a transfer fee for him ( if one was ever offered)

Re: Should Aaronson start vs Bournemouth? - Poll of the Day (22nd Sept)
When James returns not convinced that an average performance from him is any better than one from Aaronson

Re: How do you defend against Arsenal's back post bunch
Hardly rocket science on Arsenals part and not hard for any other side to attempt to emulate,
Perhaps their desire to get there first is greater.
Previously they have also attempted to block off the keeper although that doesn’t seem to be happening this season.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 25th August) - Leeds looked susceptible and exposed as Arsenal hit five
The side we put out in my opinion was weaker than what we put out for the majority of last season so not surprised by the result.
On Saturday he started with 2 players who ended last season on the bench.
With the money we spent how soon does Farke change things is the big question.

Perhaps a typo with a 0 on the end.
4 mill nearer the mark
Clubs hardly falling over themselves to show any interest

Re: Jack Harrison
I get him staying fit
Perhaps because he runs a fair bit and says no to any sign of physicality and involvement

Re: Jack Harrison
What were Bamfords stats like in our 2 premier league seasons.
Based on your Harrison stats is there not a case to keep him?

Re: Jack Harrison
Absolutely not irrelevant.
Don’t buy into playing on the wrong side for his abysmal output.
Who knows how will set up as the season rolls along.
Not all about stats. Everton supporters glad to see the back of him at a time he should be in his prime.
Poor decision maker at the end of the day

Subhuman
Admire your support of him
Not sure why you compare him to Eddie???
Not sure why after 2 years experience with us there are likely many premier league defenders with more goals and assists than him in last 2 years

Let’s get rid of him and end this thread.!!!!!
Some like a winger because of their defensive duties.
I thought a winger was more about goals and assists.

Re: Jack Harrison
His frustrating and often diabolical performances will never win fans over.
At least Aaronson had some goals to help his reintroduction.
Judging by the last 2 years Harrison has none of those in his locker at a time that he should be in his prime.

Re: Mateo Joseph
Not sure how is valued anywhere near 10 mill.
Struggled against often poor opposition in one of best offensive teams in championship history.
Some will point to potential but does not every player have that?
Not one strong feature of his game ( gives 100%, works hard etc have no value in my book)

Re: Mateo Joseph
But we’ve seen way more of him than any foreign manager.
Interesting only Spanish clubs seem interested where he has a decent U21 record. Perhaps those performances are the only ones they are influenced by!!!!!

Re: Mateo Joseph
But look at the poor opposition he was up against. Very few on here would support your theory that he could be a game changer from the bench against much more formidable opposition. This time last year think most of us were excited for him and had high expectations. Maybe if we had stayed down then ...

If we keep him how would you use him.?
Based on what we saw last season what results would you expect?

Jammy
I think his last 2 years stats would be more appropriate considering he should be in his prime and he would be playing in premier league
