Not big deal, time to move on. He had a bit of a shocker last week against some obscure Hungarian side, by all accounts. If he's not keen, don't force the issue.

As for Forshaw (sicknote), he's barely Championship level, I think he would be out his depth in the PL.

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

Bringing Roberts on will hardly ever make much of an impact. Great that we won, but it's clear that we are lacking depth. I also agree that we do need to bring in an established left back, along with a few more additions, then we should be fine.

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

A major learning curve, we are going to have to wise up and quick. As much we offer great entertainment for the neutral, there is also a fragility that needs addressing. A new keeper is a good place to start.

Defo need a decent keeper, Koch looks limp, and Coops not up to the standard required.

Well at least we bring some entertainment value to the mausoleum that is the PL.

Radz, get that cheque book out again! .

Crikey, defensively we are a mess, had an uneasy feeling about this even at 4-1. We look way too vulnerable at times.

Well I guess Robert's can't make less of an impact than Rodrigo.

Number 10 needed ASAP, round pegs in square holes, just won't cut it in the PL.

Re: Leeds United v Hull City - MATCH THREAD - Bielsa makes eleven changes

Truly awful last night and no excuses for such a performance. It clearly showed that players such as Douglas, Roberts, Kiko, and to an extent Alioski are not Premiership material. There is some concern that our U23s side are not really producing much stand out talent. I guess now we can focus on con...

Re: Liverpool v Leeds United - MATCH THREAD - Cooper out, Struijk starts

Good performance, can't say I'm 'proud' that we lost, more dissappointed not to have got something from it. Some naive play at times, but that's going to happen first game back and against Liverpool. Definitely a good few lessons to be learnt, and hopefully we can bring a few signings, then we shoul...

Re: Liverpool v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Whilst i am hopeful i do fear a drubbing is on the cards. The system was enough to dominate Arsenal 1st half on their own turf to a degree only our opponents on Saturday managed all season. Unfortunately the bit the system cant impact, the bit in the box where it is down to the individual let us do...

Re: Kiko Casilla

Exactly. If he was a bag of nerves from start to finish of a game then you think he is distracted. Keepers beaten at the near post happens, keepers not being great on crosses happens and he wasn't the greatest at dealing with crosses prior to the charge. Makes perfect sense as to why we signed him.

Well one positive, he won't be getting called for any other internationals any time soon. Great club player, but in all honesty, he's not international stardard.

strange one this - we have two clear first choice cbs, odd to be spending such a big portion of our budget on a third cb... also not entirely sure how anyone can say this is a great signing when, let's be honest, we know nothing more than wikipedia says about him! anyway, another a big signing of i...

Re: Rodrigo de Paul - RUMOUR

I'd happily haul Costa or Harrison off though. We can't let emotions get in the way here and play Pablo just because he got a few crucial assists and goals at the end of the season. He never set the prem alight with Swansea and at 35 he won't be doing it again. We can't be thinking... "we can't do ...
