Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 30th January) Meltdown at Molineux as Palace walk away from Strand-Larsen deal

Wolves don't really have a choice but to sell JSL. If they wait until the summer and they're relegated, his price drops dramatically.
Our position is now stronger.

But £50mil is a lot of money.

Suppose if he scores the goals to keep Palace up it's a bargain

I hope we have a contingency

It will be extremely tough whoever we field and whoever they field.
Most of their bench would walk into our starting 11.
A point would be excellent, 3 points would be unbelievable

Re: Are you confident we'll make another signing in the January Window? - Poll of the Day (28th Jan)

I voted no but in all honesty I won't be disappointed if we don't sign anyone as I am happy with the squad we have and if we stay up I think we will be in a good position to have more options in the summer. For me I felt our biggest way to improve the side was if a no.10 became available - that ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 27th January) Another point closer to safety

As I mentioned in the match thread, one defeat in ten. We're difficult to beat and that's a good habit to have. I know I'd much rather be in our position than West Ham's. I'm really surprised DF didn't give Nmecha a run last night given how the Fulham game ended. DCL, Aaronson and Stach looked ...

Re: Everton v Leeds United Match Thread

Reflecting on last night's result this morning. Its one defeat in 10 now which is good at this level. We're difficult to beat if nothing else. The number of times we've lost leads is frustrating though. We could be in a so much better position but if we win the key home games against Wolves. Burnley ...

Re: Everton v Leeds United Match Thread

Fair result in the end We were much the better side bar 5 or so minutes 1st half, Everton dominated 2nd where we barely got past half way . Played some nice football 1st half, Aaronson was lively and a threat with DCL. Both complete role reversal 2nd half, atleast 1 should have come off earlier ...

We dominated first half, scored and hit the post, they did the same in the second so you have to say a draw is a fair result.
