Re: Are you confident we'll make another signing in the January Window? - Poll of the Day (28th Jan)
The issue with Buonanotte may depend on DF and how much he uses him. The kids only played about 6 matches worth of minutes in 8 months. He won't be match sharp and the only way to get that back is generous minutes, not 5-10 minutes every so often.. So much may depend on DF on how successful this ...

Re: Joel Piroe
I do think Ipswich would be a good move for Joel. Farke isnt going to use him rightly or wrongly. Piroe can score goals in the Championship, Ipswich are almost certainly getting promoted and Mckenna has shown a willingness to use his players from the previous season in the Prem. Can understand Joel ...

Re: Joel Piroe
I would say Piroe is a very good player but limited, high quality is pushing it a bit, especially at the level we're at now. We haven't got £50m to £100m players coming off our bench, as is the case with majority of PL clubs, hopefully that will change as we evolve as a club. Would you have the s ...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
I think he would’ve had the ball arrived without taking a nick off the defender, it would’ve arrived a split second earlier. His left foot had just planted on the ground as the ball came. Fair point. Is also the fact JFH was a much better player than DCLA (certainly as a goalscorer) so maybe Jimmy i ...

Re: Pascal Struijk
Sounds like Pascal could have left in the summer I had some options to leave, but that didn't happen. This has had to do with several parties. From my side, there was something I would like to do. But the three parties: me, the club and the other club should all come out eventually. If that doesn't ...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Jimmy had his say on the DCL chance.
“Can you open your body up and take it with your left foot, you have a bigger chance of scoring.
“I must say, he takes it toepoking, but I would have rather seen him open his body up and take it with his left foot.”

Re: Championship Thread
So it's better to be sh*t and then exceed low expectations? You have to look at the bigger picture, something lots of fans don't do. Like when we had Bielsa and for a long time overachieved. Then some fans turned on him when we weren't able to keep overachieving and they weren't interested in the ...

Re: Championship Thread
Often unfairly by armchair managers. To be fair to Lampard even if they slumped and ended up in the play-offs it would still be a decent season based on realistic aspirations at the start of the season. Would it though? Expectations change as the season progresses. Is the Leicester manager expected ...

Re: Championship Thread
They’ve only lost 3 of their last 10, or, if you prefer , lost only 5 all season. Like Weasel, I’m no Lampard fan, but that’s harsh from the Coventry fans. Exactly. 3 of the last 10 2 of the previous 19. May seem harsh but fans are seeing a drop in form I suppose and a gap being closed quickly.

Re: Joel Piroe
Dutch media (the same one JP did an interview with few weeks ago) reporting Ipswich made a permanent proposal for Joel.
He has for now turned them down as he simply doesn't want to go back to the Championship

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 27th January) Another point closer to safety
It does. It puts us a point nearer to a total that will hopefully be enough to stay up. It is all about us as if we keep going along at a point per match, on average, till the end of the season then we finish on 41. Whilst mathematically that may not guarantee survival it should do. So would us ...
