Re: Cheer Up Frank Lampard

He just isnt likeable. He is a man who has been given his chance his whole career. Undoubtedly a talented player but his Uncle and his Dad gifted him his chance at West Ham. Then he sodded off and moved to Chelsea just after they left. Then (from Arry's own mouth) he touted Lampard around to get him...

Re: Chelsea v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Chelsea should win and are in good form. Only lost 1 in the league. They like to attack and have spent a fortune making themselves better. That being said we have shown that we are better against the traditional better sides. Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Everton etc. And we are ideally suited to te...

His English is better than half the squad.

Definitely deserves a new contract, had a decent shout for MOTM in the last 2 games.

Its a shame but if Forshaw retires soon i wouldn't be surprised.

Wont play for us again i hope (sorry Adam) we have moved a level above him anyway.

Re: Grealish

Grealish... does he go down too easy? Yes, sometimes, but I think that's a significant part of his playing style. I think i've only seen him "dive" once, and that was the Palace game over the summer when he got a pen and VAR overturned it — think that Bruno getting a Man U penalty for stomping on K...

Re: Grealish

Nobody will pay £100mil for Grealish so smart by Villa if thats his price. Only a few mill less than Griezmann went for. More than Hazard and Ronaldo went for. Grealish has had a great start to the season (diving aside);but you need at least a quality season producing 10-20 goals and assists each be...

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread

So Llorente is edging closer.

Forshaw will never play for us again imo and tbh as a Prem club he never should.

We will hopefully have moved on from his level by the time (if ever) he is fit again.

Shame but we arent a charity.

She needs to have a word with Marcelo.

He would have her playing for England at the Euros.

Is that in the build up to the offside?

If so then presumably once its decided he is offside then whatever else happens is irrelevant?

Deserved to win tbf to you.

Re: Today's Games

Tbf to Villa they should have won. Trezeguet is a donkey, missed a sitter and Watkins missed a pen. However, maybe its karma for this. 1333519702874841090 Contact was minimal if at all, it wasnt even that leg or the knee area that may have had a tiny tap. We arent clinical and never have been under Bielsa, not even up for debate, Bielsa has said it himself many times. The solution is slowly replace players over time, you cant teach finishing imo, its a natural gift and many of our players simply dont have it. Dont think its controversial to say that....

Raul Jimenez

Thoughts with the Wolves striker and his family after the sickening collision with David Luiz. Wont post a clip but it was a clash of heads at a corner accompanied by an awful and loud crack sound as the two players came together. Luiz was alright and played on. But Jimenez was taken to hospital and...

Pleased with the Everton performance. Concerned our conversion rate is dropping to the usual pathetic low percentage. Not a surprise, same players having the same issues etc. Hopefully Raph and Rodders can help us out. Chelsea on paper are a big test, bit like Manure, a team of talented individuals ...

A few minutes to go and the scoreline is only 1-0 Surely you have to hold the ball up and take it into the corner. That is the sensible conventional thing to do, but not if you are A Ninja footballer practicing Bielsaball. Insane skills from Poveda. 1333157075199909889 If you listen carefully you c...

Re: Today's Games

That interview from Wilder was quite incredible. To be so vicious in public about your own players because of 1 defeat is so strange, especially because they clearly did well in recent previous matches at the time. Calling them league 1/ Championship players, wow. Southampton threw that away but its...

Everton fans starting to question Ancelotti. Dont mean to be rude but ffs know your place, who do they expect to get as manager? Not the right man for them imo. His best work has come at money bag clubs with the structure and whatnot in terms of success. PSG,Bayern, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Milan. Noth...

Will be interesting to see if Paddy suffers any consequences. Wasnt the same level of tantrum as Pablo but it was still a show of frustration. MB wants players to do what they are told and not complain. Although minor Paddy did show some frustration. What may help is it wasnt highlighted in the inte...
