Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

I see David Stockdale to Leeds rumour has appeared again

Sick of hearing about Stockdale.

Besides, surely if Kiko does get suspended then Illan Meslier steps in otherwise what was the point of loaning him?

Re: Match Made in Heaven?

What a weird decision.

Its like when we got rid of TC and appointed someone who had done far worse in the same league.

Harris is Soggybottom.

Not worried about Cardiff now, was when Colin was still the boss.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 15th November) - Financial Fair Play catches up with South Yorkshire rivals

Wendies Its inept from their owner, the issue isnt that he sold the stadium its because he backdated it. If you Google him he seems like a rich kid spending his trust fund. Makes you wonder if he is much of a business man at all. Costa. I hope MB is tweaking the system to get the best out of Costa. ...

Re: Gaetano Berardi

Cant read the article because I'm not subscribed to The Athletic. However Phil said this in relation to the Berardi red vs Millwall. The panel who overturned Berardi's red card at Millwall did not even rule on whether he denied a goalscoring chance because replays showed it wasn't a foul. They also ...

Re: Sheffield Wednesday charged with breaching ffp rules

Its not a shock but also it shouldn't be used as any sort of excuse for us. Wednesday have spent just in 3 seasons including the 17/18 accounts. About £38mil and sales have bought in about £3mil (thats not a joke its insane how much they jave spent) We just by selling Pontus Jansson made more money ...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

Christ people just want to always have a pop. Of course it will be quieter in January than in the summer. New arrivals in January have to hit the ground running and get used to Bielsa's methods whereas those arriving in the summer can have a few weeks and even then it wasn't long enough in the case...

All the usual bullsh*t, where has Orta got that 25% success-rate figure from ? Why are we not surprised CJay :o Our fans were going nuts when Cellino & Bates were voicing such blarney Commercial side i think Radz has done well tbf to him. Transfer wise he hasnt, lower net spend under Radz then any ...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

Good old Victor has appeared in the Italian press in time for January to tell us how skint we are and how difficult January windows are yada yada "We have made a conservative line in the summer, we will do it in winter. The new ones need time, in January there are few options.  "I can say that it wi...

Re: QSI In Talks With Radz (Phil Hay Update)

A fresh twist. Reports now that the Al thani family are trying to buy Napoli. Professor Simon Chadwick who apparently knows about Gulf politics and what not has said he was in the Gulf a few weeks ago and the talk was of Qatar buying Napoli not us. He also floated the possibility of a franchise simi...

Re: U23's 2019-20

Not overly bothered as we have bigger fish to fry. Does make you question just how much use some of these kids would be if required to do more then 1 or 2 games in the 1st team. Gotts, Stevens, Davis, Edmondson, Miazek, Struijk. All been in and around the match day squads at times. Only thing this s...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 13th November) - Cooper in race against time to be fit for Luton

Coops Their is something wrong with our medical department imo. Rob Price rushes them back to fast, i am utterly convinced. He got accused of it at Hull and Liverpool to because of players getting reinjured so much. But MB is equally to blame for his small squad nonsense. Clarke. Big fan of Jack and...

Injuries

Just out of interest i looked up 4 players who seem to have spent more time injured since arriving then fit. Between them they cost around £17mil. Tyler Roberts Adam Forshaw Barry Douglas Patrick Bamford Between them they have been injured for with the information i can find. 106 league games!!!!!! ...

Injured for 22 league games since arriving.

Thats a hell of a lot for a player who has only been here for 1.5 seasons.

Re: Adam Forshaw

Given Forshaw has disappeared of the face of the earth again despite his injury not being serious i did some reading.

Since arriving he has been a Leeds player for 81 possible league games.

He has been injured for 31 of those.

Becoming a real sick note.

Two stunning strikes from Pompey v Harrogate.

Why can't we score worldie's ?
Because the Macedonian Messi is injured obviously. :)

Colin has left Cardiff.

He will now retire . . . . . . Until February when he will become a manager again and immediately declare his new squad a great bunch of lads, the best he has worked with in fact.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 11th November) - Bamford back on the scoresheet

Yes, we do need to capitalise more on our dominance, but 2 goals in each of our last two games is a start, should be doing better though. PLeased for Paddy and the chanting of his name as he stood waiting to take the pen must have given him a great deal of confidence, full credit to the fans who did...

Re: QSI In Talks With Radz

Phil Hay has given an update on the QSI situation from the point of view of QSI . . .that's a first. As expected, QSi value the club lower then Radz with Radz believing the club is worth £100mil plus (utter nonsense, Radz has done a good job commercially but £100mil for us in the 2nd tier, not a hop...
