Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
Going back to our coach. If those who want Farke sacked, who replaces him & are we going to better off with a new man in charge? Highly likely imo! Leeds under Don Revie were not promoted in his first season. Belisa didn't get Leeds up in his first season. Farke's Norwich were not promoted in h...

Re: Today's Games
This is worth a read on why Brighton & De Zerbi are failing. https://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/roberto-de-zerbi-next-manager-job-odds-will-he-leave-brighton-for-a-european-superpower/217455 Good article. It just goes to show, you're better off being a West Ham, and overachieving with a...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
I won't debate Orta as I thought he was a pretty useless arrogant tosser focused on his own reputation and his desire to sign the next big thing for his own reputation over just the right player. But I don't think his signings were s**t at this level at all. Neither should they be given what they c...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
It's nonsense. If you speak to opposition fans or even just read the forum (even the Norwich forum) people rave about our squad. The only ones who don't are some of our own fans. Think some have just put so much into hyping Farke, they don't want to accept any fallacies. Big Sam, Gracia and Marsch ...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
Gnonto and Summerville will never ever get lumped in with JKA, probably the biggest transfer mess in history. He got praised for the unbeaten run but again why were we 17 points behind in the first place? Nothing to do with the summer as only 6 points behind in September, it was that Christmas run ...

Re: Today's Games
Think Brighton could be really good odds for relegation next season. Plenty of sides have overachieved and then been relegated not long after. I think their recruitment this season was really poor as well and you can't keep getting lucky with it while selling your best players.

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
Would you & others have approved of Cooper selected ahead of Rodon, I very much doubt it. To be honest, Rodon & Ampadu have been our most consistent players. Anyone who wishes to watch a re-run of the QPR game on LUTV, & you'll soon realise our CBs were solid in the main, it was the sur...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
Whats Orta got to do with it? Summerville has worked out well tbf to Victor as has Gnonto and both had shown enough in the Premier League for that to be suggested they'd thrive in the Championship. Georgie Rutter has always been talented, just a bit of an enigma of a player but not without talent (...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
If the players are tired, it's because there's been no squad rotation. For example, Rodon has played every minute of every game since 4 October, including internationals. There were plenty of occasions he could be been rested, especially in the FA Cup. Rutter was rushed back after injury and been dr...

Re: Today's Games
The reason i love this forum sooooo much is the number of positive fans that we have on it  This is a team who drew at home to Sunderland when Leicester lost. This is a team who lost at home to Blackburn when Leicester lost. This is a team who lost 4-0 when we had a chance to build a gap. Sorr...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
Player narratives and judgement are all a matter of opinion which can be manipulated whichever side of the fence you are on. Personally, where our team has lacked all season is in the middle of the park. We have heavily relied upon virtuoso performances up front or solid defence. The middle pairing...

Re: Today's Games
Just think it might be better for Ipswich to draw so it's out of our hands. I just think we will bottle it if we're second going into the game, and the pressure will be less. Remember when we stayed up, we started the day in the drop zone and I think that gave Burnley added pressure.

Report reveals Manchester City FFP ‘resolution’ delay in ‘big update’ after ‘expulsion’ warning One of the news stories this morning suggesting Man City’s FFP hearing is most likely going to be delayed to next year but the word “ expulsion “ has been used for the 1st time. Very, very unlikely the Pr...

Yes, we most certainly have Sid. Mes - Has constantly been ' a work in progress' ...'flappybird '...'panic ridden'.....but DF has used him well via tactics.....a clown buy Gray - DF unearthed him, don't forget that - Nobody else ever used him to such good effect - A complete bonus from DF for us. F...

Looks like Villa getting top 4. Credit to them. Losing a lot of money like, but that's what having owners with ambition looks like.

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
Likeable fella. If we limp up then that will help our finances. But remember we have all the loan dross to discard and they will get not much income for us. JKA to pay out and all our other debt collectors. What would we get for Bamford, Cooper, etc? Nothing. We'll have little to spend, but it can ...
