Re: Rodrigo as a 10

Possibly, Leon, but the hope has to be that, as established internationals, their learning curve may not be as steep. Can see both really stepping up as the season progresses. The one thing that will take time is getting thier core fitness up to the level required for Bielsaball

Re: Oh Dear Ole ( Shame about Scum)

After doing a bit of research I've discovered that Ole has a very rigorous training schedule: 11am-12am - Turn up in your expensive supercar. Don't mind the time, we can be flexible if you want a lie in. 12pm-1pm - Hang about in the fun area. There's a ball pit, bouncy castle but most importantly a...

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

Passing off, CH pairing changed again, KP poor (though exposed) by his own standards and Harrison anonymous. Yet we won, and personally thought we outplayed Fulham for most of the game. It is a learning curve for the entire squad, only Pablo and Bamford have actually played in the Prem. It will take...

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD

Nervous anticipation. If we perform like we did against Liverpool, we should get the win. But, as others have pointed out, it isn't a gimme, nor will not winning be the end of the world. We had a free hit last week, the expectation that this is a much more winnable game could work either. Might be a...

Re: Does Hull City defeat reveal an alarming lack of depth in Leeds United’s squad?

What this proves to me, not that I needed proof, was that we are some ways short of having a competitive second 11 like the big teams do. No shame in that, we are light years behind them. People are disappointed in the performance and the result, but we need to be realistic about the sort of squad w...
