Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

Could have another Rodrigo on the way. Rodrigo De Paul is being looked at from Udinese. Argentinian midfielder/10. Phil Hay says the club haven't denied interest either.

Re: Rodrigo

This would be a quality signing imo. Never understood the clamour for Watkins (not very often that a Championship top scorer goes up a division and does well, for every Vardy there is a Gayle or a Mitrovic or a McCormack). This guy looks like a handful and realistically wouldn't be leaving Valencia ...

Re: Nicolas Gonzalez

Personally id rather spend £15-20mil on someone like Gonzalez then £20-30mil on someone like Ollie Watkins. I would argue that its as hard to get a cap for Argentina as it is for England if not harder. The list of attacking players Argentina have compared to England is probably better on paper and ...

Re: Our front three...

So our current front three - Bamford, Costa and Harrison managed a grand total of 26 goals last season ( 16 for Bamford, 6 for Harrison and 4 for costa ) If you add the combined total of appearances for all three players, it comes to a grand total of 134. So that works out at an average of one goal...

Re: Player Ratings v Swansea

Meslier- 7 - Not a HUGE amount to do but acquitted himself well when called upon. Seems much safer at corners than Kiko did. Ayling- 8 - How much energy does this guy have, busting a gut to get the ball into the box. Cooper- 8- Very solid at the back, Swansea caused very few problems for us. White- ...

I'm somehow sleeping less. Combine wanting to stay up later with my partner now being back at work and I am sleeping less than I usually am when I am teaching.

Re: Should Statues Be Dismantled ?

Just feels like British history is being tossed out of the window I will tackle this as a History teacher. I can see your viewpoint and understand, but arguably, we ignore A LOT of British history anyway. In the classroom (I can attest to this) we discuss the American Civil Rights movement but very...

Re: First positive test for Leeds

Not saying its not true, but also unsure where they got this information from given that we don't release the results of our tests? The Daily Mail are usually about as reliable as all the other rags which aren't fit to even be used as toilet paper so we will see. Still over 2 weeks until season is m...

Re: Denman/Covid 19 at Cheltenham Festival

Not good HB I suspect it's really scary living in & around Cheltenham more so than other areas in the UK Doesnt seem too bad here comparative to say West Midlands or London. I only leave our area once a week to do the food shop. I not overly concerned by it on a personal level, moreso the damage it...

Re: Denman/Covid 19 at Cheltenham Festival

It never should have gone ahead.
I live in Cheltenham and I can tell you the only reason it did was money. Our NHS Trust has the highest number of incidences in the South West dont think its a coincidence.

Very concerning for Denman. Hope he is okay.

My thoughts too. I think behind closed doors is only way otherwise the backlog will be too great and we'll be into the Euros before we know it. Absolutely incredulous with this. Its taken 5 months to actually even get to the place where the hearing is done. Over a week since the hearing took place for them to come to their conclusion and are punishing him 'on the balance of probability'. And deciding to make the announcement on a Friday nig...

Got absolute faith in them to do well. But then I have been saying this since we got roped back in by Cardiff.

Fingers crossed for a positive result and definitely saw the green shoots of recovery at Brentford.

Worst that can happen is a fine and touchline ban (2 games tops) but as this is Leeds... expulsion from the league and a large dome to seal off the city from the rest of the UK (A la Simpsons movie)

Myself and my fine ladyfriend (MrsHereford) are travelling up to stay in York in our half term break. Would any of you kind souls who live locally/ have visited give us some advice for places to eat. Things to do and see and maybe some countryside walks as well. Much obliged. P.S. tried to see if th...

Phil Hay Chievo goalkeeper Elia Caprile due in Leeds over the weekend to tie up his transfer. The first of three if Leeds land the targets they're aiming for Is Melsier or Casilla on there way out?
