Re: Norwich Away - Post Match Thread

I honestly hoped Rutter would offer more today. He was the worse player on the pitch, no lack of effort but hardly anything is coming off. That pass to (…cannot recall, but the runner had three defenders around him) when Rutter had acres of space to run into was just symptomatic of a player with ze...

Re: Norwich Away - Post Match Thread

Simply as this for me. We will get ABSOLUTELY SPANKED in the PL if by some miracle we go up. I don't know how much we would be allowed to spend if we did manage to scrape up but it won't be enough. Boing Boing. Totally agree, 1000. Some folk talk up our players as if they are world beaters, we are ...

Re: Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Makes sense playing three in midfield to match the Norwich midfielders, we should have deployed this formation months ago, particularly away from home, as we have been totally outrun down the middle.

Farke obviously doesn't trust Piroe or Joseph to start.

What a different level, similar comparison to Premier League/Championship football.

Many famous names there I grew up with following Leeds as a kid.

Re: Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

A prior engagement means I won't see much today. Clean sheet would be nice I'm also missing the game today, as I'm organising a bowls competition tournament at my club, which was scheduled two months ago at one of our committee meetings. I've withdrawn from a league match next Thursday because l'll...

One of the joys for a dog owner  sneezing & dribbling is part of their make-up.

Re: Premier League Thread

Isn't really an ideal time to go up though, surely you want to go up as soon as possible so you keep your best players (Summerville, Gray etc). Every year down you get filled up with more of the dross every team at this level has, if people think the squad this year is bad they will hate next year ...
