Re: Cricket 2024

Good win away for us, after being 44-5 chasing 170 ish. Sounds like a great innings from Fuller 77 from 97 balls for our very fast pace bowler

Well if the Niners pay what clubs want then we're fucked ..there's such a thing as negotiation you know... Phillips is a long way from past it.

Re: Brenden Aaronson- Return from loan confirmed

Difficult to judge any of our players who were coached by Marsch. We'll have to wait and see, A) which division we're in and b) which ones we can offload

A bit above Sgt Wilko I reckon ... nowhere near Pep, The Don, Whisky Nose, Clough or Shanks and Paisley

Just the one league title wasn't it?

Don't forget to put sugar in the Southampton coach's petrol tank and let down the tyres ... take Hector with you, he's ex military and doesn't live far away

Piroe, it's not even debatable imo.... I've never bought into the "Bamford leads the line well" argument either. That's not saying he's not a decent player who has roles to play and on his day is a very good finisher.

Oh dear, a disastrous final week for me & as a consequence I dropped one place to White Riot whose inspired selection Mateta came up trumps big-time. Well done James. Four of my forwards (three of them injured/non-starter) didn't score a single point. Anyway, I reached 5th place at one s...
