Hope it comes down safely.

Luna is safely down out of the tree and eating. This morning she had come down about 20', just below the "green" part of the pine tree. Because we're supposed to have rain and wind tonight, and our neighbors already had to run one buzzard off that landed in the top of the tree squawking at Luna, they decided to try a different, slightly more experienced tree service. This climber was able to scale the tree to where she was and bring her down.

Thanks to everyone one for input and your kind words--Luna very much appreciates them.

We are quite relieved, '64--can only imagine how our neighbors are feeling. Had trouble sleeping last night worried about the poor thing.

Thanks, BB. I know it's out of our control, but sorry all this was happening while you're dealing with your loss. We've had a ton of different experiences with all types of animal, including strays, injured wild animals, etc.--so much so that our friends and family usually call when they need help. But this was a new one for us and left us scratching our heads to come up with a solution, which is why I shared it here.

Glad the good news could cheer you up a bit.

Probably get the little puss down with music.
To get him or her down play anything by Dido or Bob Dylan's latest stuff
To depress it, just get something by the overrated Doors.
Leonard Cohen or Scott Walker will see the little fury mog fling itself into the abyss to get away.
Problem solved.. :)

My aunty used to have a rug like that. Often wondered where it went. Wouldn't be surprised to see Nike use it as a design for the next England shirt.

Luna & Spook are beautiful, Ash.

Luna appears to be mischievous.

Spook looks a bit of a poser, saying with those big eyes "hey, look at me".
