Difficult to leave James, Bamford & Roberts out of the first six when they made the difference.

The linesman who ruled their second goal offside.

I didn't ... well James I did, the biggest difference maker was Geo though, they finally couldn't contain him.

BBC still giving Gray his goal, but they have given James his assist thay originally gave to Geo (no clue how or why)

I do think that's right because the shot is on target and the first deflection takes it wide before the second puts it in

Gnonto would have won mine but Farke took him off too early

He tried swapping Gnonto with Summerville - Chowdray had that left side sown up defensively, he was just man marking his opposite number. So it was going to be Gnonto or Summerville to come off for James.
You need to leave a penalty taker on the pitch with Piroe coming off. So the sub choice made perfect sense.
Gnonto was not getting a sniff second half, James pace brings something different. It was good game management by DF and the result, whatever the context emphasises this.
Geo had a mixed game but the reality is he can create situations and that is why you have to keep him on if chasing the game.

I think Ampadu gets my vote. He constantly looked to inject pace and get the team back into it when we on the back foot. A great Captains performance.

I think our midfield battled but the gaps in the middle because Kamara had to help out on the left left gaping holes which they often took advantage of. But Kamara had a good game and would be second for me. After that it could be anyone, but Mes third, big save at a crucial time.

I have six players in mind, including the three subs, as without their contribution, I doubt we'd have got a draw let alone a victory.

Two or three poor/average performers last night, you'll know who I'm referring to,

Ampadu & Kamara were excellent.

I was calling for Ampadu to be captain in late August, ahead of Cooper & Struijk.

Ethan deserves to be the leader of our team.
