The picture was dreadful

Watched on Ifollow, which was continuously breaking up, switched to the Swansea channel, was fine for a while but was :poo: in the end.

Missed most of the 2nd half unfortunately.

Roll on LUTV tomorrow.

Took his goal well but, he doesn't press or work hard as Bamford does.

Messi has walked his way through matches for a decade but he sticks it in the onion bag :)

I thought Piroe was exceptional tonight, popped up everywhere, and scored.
Far better than bamfords aimless running about .

Indeed. Piroe is currently joint 7th top scorer in the championship this season. not bad for him having a poor season.

Can anyone see Leeds getting smashed 3-1 by the likes of Bristol City, or concede three goals in consecutive matches?

weasel wrote: Tue Feb 13, 2024 10:04 pm Indeed. I made the point earlier that was it Bamford's presence that was the biggest factor in our good form or was it more to do with Firpo and Gruev emerging as first team starters at the same time. I do think that Ampadu spraying the ball from deep a few times has given us another dimension and in some ways almost given us an extra player as he is a midfielder and defender at the same time on the pitch. Firpo's contribution, not just with assists but his forward runs to create overlaps helps create space for others which can be crucial against park the bus tactics.

Not knocking Bamford and it is great he is in form but I felt people were writing Piroe off far too quickly.
It's that increased variability, or attacking options, that can serve us so well. With Dan's ability to stretch a defense and Amps spraying balls from deep, with good results, it works on several fronts. Aside from the obvious increase in offensive output and creating space, it also calls for more planning and prep for opposing coaches and players--gotta keep them on their toes.

Early goal(s) helped and Swansea very naive in first half.
It all seemed to gel and was a joy to watch …. A throwback to the Bielsa days with exciting football, intensity and everyone on the same page.
The subs were going 110% to make an impression

Farke is continuing what he achieved at Norwich. Good in the first-half of the season, unstoppable in the 2nd half.

They were giving it their all--some healthy completion now in multiple positions.

He didn’t really have any sort of pre-season, had all the traitors on strike etc and managed to keep us in touch until we could start putting the foot down.

He’s done a fantastic job all round for me.

Just watched the launch video of Tiger Woods' new clothing range with Taylormade. Quite impressive. It's called SUN DAY RED.

Maybe we should have Adidas develop a range for us called TUES DAY PINK......No wait, that doesn't work as well.

Still, if it means we win 4-0, don't care if we play in peuk pink every game.

Feels like nothing short of a miracle after what we experienced last season.

He keeps to his word, & consistently produces the goods.
