Chelsea have spent how much ?
Chelsea have gone through how many managers trying to make things work ?
Chelsea have the money to buy the so called best ?
How long is it taking Poch ?
Will he succeed ?
After all this Chelsea are 12th, behind Fulham - Brentford - West Ham - BHA - Villa

How about stat then for some stats ?

Never mind that.

You are always coming with your condescending stuff to me.

I don't mind.

But you like to say you have this superior understanding etc to most on here.

So now go show it.

I've asked a question

Dont do your usual evasion tactic or wait for Weasel to come save you.

Please now go and answer those questions on the FarkeBall thread.

I need no one to save me.

You need the net.

I make nothing up I assure you.

I also put a lot of thought into all my posts :)

Contrary to what dear Kenneth thinks.

You know me Cjay, I’m not one for looking things up 😁 I let you do that.
Oh no I don’t actually think you make them up but are they any use? For instance if you gave that last stat to DF he’d probably nut you.
Hey actually do you remember Denis Pennis? I could see you totally doing managers heads in. Waiting outside grounds “hey Daniel what percentage of Germans make great managers” that kind of thing.
“Hey Ten Hag what % of your head has hair on it”
I’d better go I’ve got medication to take.
Ipswich won’t fade. As predicted.

And how many of those 70% actually gained automatic promotion?

How the hell have I managed to watch a replay of that shocking match, a game littered with mistakes & little imagination from both teams?

Summary up later.

DDB220 wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 7:47 am There was absolutely no need to swap Archie with Spence. Clarke realistically got the better of him about twice. The foul was necessary as Clarke may have got clear on that occasion. These occurrences happen in games. The reality for me was that there was a tactical plan to prevent Archie getting isolated on a 1v1 with Clarke (Clarke stats in this league this season are not by chance) James was to double up on Clarke. (Some moaned in chat during the game how James had to help out Gray ?) Sunderland did exactly the same against Summerville as did Blackburn last week - players of this quality can hurt any team if given time and space to run at a defender (regardless of who the defender is) so what teams do is to set up tactically to prevent those situations occurring. It is called a low block.

We don’t play a low block so players have to track back to help the defence when the opposition counter - that is the reality. Sunderland like Blackburn played well in those transitional moments and caused us problems.
Fair points DB, and Archie did have a good match.

But when he got a yellow that early I wouldn't risk him getting another.

So for me, Spence has a clean sheet to play with and might have needed less help, to free up James and maybe help to get Archie forward on the left.

White Riot wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 6:24 am Yeah, they had us sussed out and just sat back all night. We again had loads of possession but this time did nothing with it.

Proper titty goal they got though.

I'm not worried about Leicester, or Ipswich, they will sort themselves out. Leicester won't carry that jam all season. Ipswich are away to us and Leicester, and home to Leicester too, over the next five weeks. They will get nowt from them.

With some necessary recruits in January, left back and centre back minimum, and hopefully a play maker, we will win this. Leicester second, then Ipswich, Sunderland, WBA and maybe Boro in the playoffs.

Have faith mate 🙏💪

Still 25 matches left to go.

Losing Byram now with lots of matches coming up, is a big blow and again shows we should have recruited a left back.

We've been shouting that for years, but no f**kers listening. Our EPL experience showed that you don't get away with half-assing things

That Pritchard was given way too much time and space last night, same as Clarke, but Ampadu and Kamara are tired, and Archie is out of position.
Excellent. I’m glad it’ll all work out in the end 😁

Looking at the season so far the results you would be realistically disappointed with are

Birmingham away lost
Stoke away lost
Rotherham away drew
Sheff wed home drew

You could forgive Birmingham though given the state we were in. So 3 games we should have done better in, scored one goal against teams with an av position of 22nd - we should be 7 points better off now which would make the picture considerably better.

Just not sure I’d realistically expect us to do as well in the second half of the season.

Apart from Clarke eating him up for supper, I thought Gray had a mare!

Ball watching for the goal, step forward a yard & Bellingham is offside.

His header straight to one of their forwards who skies his shot over the bar.

A couple of poor passes & lost possession in areas where we could have got punished.

I was reading a Mackems forum and a guy said my Leeds mates rave on about Gray but he wouldn't make our first 11. That's RB for ya.

Very difficult for young Archie in a team that generally under-performed last night.

We lose to Ipswich and a 13 pts gap will probably mean play offs.
Us v Ipswich is a nappy-wearer.
Aye, you're right Ron 😄

I'll get a few Immodium knocked down for those matches :)
