The first touch & finish from Rutter & through ball to James for the 3rd swung MOTM for me. Byram’s tackle, Summerville’s attacking play & Ampadu’s ball over the top highlights as well. Great performance all round, same again against Boro please.

You've surprised me with no Byram in a top 6 Sara.

I don't particularly like to do this as i like to see a standout alone MOTM.

I do like to see a good team performance like last night, it speaks volumes for the players and manager, Rutter has to win it if anyone for me with the skill control and composure for his goal the obvious standout, lots of other contributions as well.

At first I thought DJ was criminal for being offside for that pass and should always be making sure he's onside especially when he's got full view across the line, but on second viewing, jeez it must've been marginal if not on.

There was no bad player and i'm enjoying Les Mes's composure and willingness with his feet (it could be worth a lot of money to us that, they are in demand these days and is now primarily first on the list of many top club managers, someone like Arteta could easily be taking note) Because of this we have to learn to live with the odd mistake, he is bringing a vital contribution to the way DF wants to play (and did Bert)

Agree with you that Byram should be in the six.

But, I'm not accepting that KennyB, Pascal or any of our other defenders put in a performance like Joe's & they get the votes.

It's ludicrous to suggest Rodon is our 4th best defender on the overall season MOTM ratings, believe me we'd be f**ked without him.

As good & influential as Ben White was for us. in my opinion.

Could've been anyone after Rutter and Summerville, really. I'm probably a bit prone not to notice defenders so much, especially in games where we aren't under sustained pressure.
