Undoubtably the best player on the pitch by a country mile.

Archie a close second.
As is the case with Rodon, he goes unnoticed because he's often winning defensive headers in a crowded box.

I feel he'd still be in contention for motm, especially a top 6 motm, the match was won when he was on the pitch, 55 mins of control, then i think you felt we went to pieces.

I'm not sure Rodon won it by a country mile, it was quite a decent team performance, especially first half.

How did LC fair on your re run of the game ?
Not dependent on Google, the www or 'stats' - Just a guy that puts his eyes to full use on the beautiful game :geek:

BOOST DRINKS PLAYER OF THE MATCH

Plymouth provided tough competition after a good start to the season, having won four, drawn four in their first 15 games of the Championship season.

Standing in their way from getting anything more out of the game, was defender Joe Rodon who put in a Player of the Match performance.

Playing the full 90 minutes, Rodon touched the ball an impressive 119 times, making the most amount of successful passes (93) on the pitch, with a 91% accuracy.

Rodon also made the most amount of tackles (4), clearances (7), whilst winning 7 of the 9 duels he was involved in.

Such was Rodon's impressive performance, 32% of fans voted for the defender, ahead of goalscorer Dan James (26%), Archie Gray (13%) and Georginio (8%).

44 good/positive actions, more than 15 ahead of any of his teammates suggests he was easily the MOTM, Rodon is a classy racehorse, with much of his work going unnoticed.

I believe the likes of Byram, Cooper, Kamara, & Ampadu were about 20 or below positive moments.

Sam just missed out in my first six.

Summerville, Piroe & Rutter were near the 30 mark.

I'll check the numbers when I get home from rainy Bridlington, just have to negotiate the flooded roads now.
