Re: Joel Piroe
Been completely wasted this season. Should've scored 20 goals, but forced out of position and limited to a couple of mins off the bench.

Oscar who used to post on here called it "one of the best striking performances for us in the last 15-20 years".andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 7:58 pm Most complete performance I've seen from him. Definitely keeps his place.
He was excellent.
That's the player I think we all assumed we'd get when we signed him.
He showed all the can't do the stuff Bamford does wrong (including missing chances)

Don't get me wrong, Piroe was very lively, his best game in a long time.
Joel did miss a couple of simple chances.
Re: Joel Piroe
Lively a bit of a downplaying?
Involved in 3 of 4 goals, excellent movement all night giving Georgie and Jimmy space to play in.
1 chance I'd say, 1st one, 2nd was just good goalkeeping imo.
Had that been Paddy some on here would be commissioning a statue
I'd say one of if not the best striking performance of the season overall imo considering the magnitude of the game as well.

That turn in the build-up for Rutter's goal was sublime.
I'm happy for Joel, more please!
