Re: Joe Rodon
Good job Joe Rodon is bloody awsome because he had to bail out Liam Cooper a few times today!

He certainly did, Adam.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 9:06 pm Good job Joe Rodon is bloody awsome because he had to bail out Liam Cooper a few times today!
Hardly put a foot wrong today.
Joe is lightening quick to recover or retrieve a dangerous situation, you have to be stood behind our defence to realise how quick he actually is, he's like a whippet.
We could quite easily found ourselves one or two down had it not been for his brilliant defensive work, then it would have been a different game, so much so, we may not have been celebrating a victory tonight.
Due to our flair players, Joe's defensive work is overlooked & underestimated by some of our fans.

Collossus defender, reads the game so well, covering for cooper and that clown firpo numerous times, well done Joe.
Very integral to our team.

Take him out of our team & we have a typical championship defence.mentalcase wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 11:29 am Collossus defender, reads the game so well, covering for cooper and that clown firpo numerous times, well done Joe.

Re: Joe Rodon
Got to agree, he's the big difference, would love to have him here permanent, head, heart and soul into every game he plays.
When your'e at the game you can see the impact he has

Yes, Joe's position, awareness & pace is more apparent when you are actually at the game.mentalcase wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 11:35 am Got to agree, he's the big difference, would love to have him here permanent, head, heart and soul into every game he plays.

With Pascal's injury woes of late, I feel we require another quality CB, as I wouldn't trust a Struijk/Cooper partnership to see out the season should Rodon is unavailable.

Re: Joe Rodon
It's what I've been saying for a while, a LB, CB CM & CF are needed long term, doubt we'll get all 4 this season though, LB is a must.1964white wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 11:42 am Yes, Joe's position, awareness & pace is more apparent when you are actually at the game.

Re: Joe Rodon
A full back is needed in January, we seem to have cover in the other positions.
Sam is great but won’t be available all the time.

Farke was extremely lucky that Rodon was already at the club when he arrived as it would appear most of the fans wouldn't trust Farke with money........

Joe--putting in the work
Let's hope those rumors of us finalizing a permanent deal for him in the January window are true.

Yeboah against Liverpool Crossbar and in.
Re: Joe Rodon
Thoroughly deserved
So many 8, 9 & 10 ratings, don't think he's gone below 7/10 in a Leeds shirt.
