predictions of where we will finish next season

Post by geronimo »

i know its early and many things need to be sorted out , including what the team will look like,, and who the manager will be in august, which in itself leaves very little time to assemble a first team squad capable of competing over a gruelling 46 game campaign. and whether the 49ers will actually splash the cash to bring the best players available to give the club the best chance for an immediate return to the premier league , because they certainly wont want to be languishing in the championship for very long thats for sure .

i will go 8th

First to eighth. As we await the manager and what the team will look like. Anything lower than 8th would be a failure

Top 6/8, manager and player movement will determine where

anything less than promotion will be a failure :-D , if you aint in the top two or go up through the play offs , you are still in the championship the following season regardless where you finish .

Depends if it’s a complete rebuild or not.

we will finish 1st or 2nd. Just look at our squad even when a number our players leave. We just need 3 extra position's to be filled. Centre forward, midfield and left back

We'll need to bring in more than 3 players. More like 7 or 8 to cope with a 46 game season :duno:

We can't just be relying on the youngsters

It's obvious, we will lose in the play-off semi-final second leg at home, following a complete meltdown.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say somewhere between 1st with 100+ points and 24th with just a handful of points.

The club has pretty much been mothballed for the last month during what should have been a busy period of transition, EFL seemingly dragging their feet on the takeover, we ain’t making any money from transfers and we don’t even have a manager ffs. All adds up to a very disappointing season - 11th

totally agree especially when it is more than likely that the number of players that will probably leave could reach double figures

It's depressing me to even think about it.

Absolutely no idea until i see the first games, or how our new fantastic manager sets us up.

Let's just say this feeling of deja vu won't go and i feel like it's 2004 again.
