I thought Pukey before but we don’t take championship players apparently.

He's looked like he's interested anyway. He knows that defenders hate being run at like cryo does....same with joffy.Cjay wrote:Really doubted Summerville but he has been very decent

I'll read about it in the Bury Free Press on Monday...

Wish I knew. Same with Harrison first half but rod got him out the mire.Victor_Notts-17 wrote: Why did he not go with his right???

That system has been found out. Caught teams by surprise in the first 3 games. No back up plan.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 1:53 pm Hoping the opposition lose the ball in their own box seems to be the plan, it's not a very good one!
When we have players like Harrison, Sinisterra and Aaronson I don't understand playing without width

That was schoolboy stuff. You should always have one player, possibly two on the half way line.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 1:54 pm I think we are a little fortunate to be level. Roca's goal line clearance, and Wilson's 1 v 1 with Meslier could have easily gone against us.
How slow were we getting back when Wilson broke clear?
Haven't seen the XG yet. But given their point blank chance has to be heavily in their favour

I think thats Jesse's arrogance / naivety again. Same as thinking he could rest Cooper against bottom placed Leicester.
Guessing he saw a weaker team at home and thought it would be a good opportunity to give Ayiling a run - certainly more attacking down the right - and Rasmus a rest.
Such are luxuries we can't afford at the moment

Greenwood looks low on confidence. He bosses things when he plays at the youth level. At this level he's afraid to make the long pass, forward runs, and can't put a shot on target. He's a better player than this.

Ayling has been good at this level and should be good enough against Fulham. But he has had very little match time since injury. He can still do a job for us. But with the run we're on, we need to put out our strongest 11, no matter what. He can't afford to be giving Rasmus and Cooper a rest.MightyWhites wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 2:01 pm Ayling needs hooking as has been said. Some of the defending defies belief, absolutely awful. Ted is not the man to take us forward unless something inspired happens, which I doubt. Can't see anything other than a defeat.

Need to use Aaronson better. I think he should play the 8 sometimes. Especially when we're trailing.DDB220 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 2:03 pm I disagree regarding Aaronsson- he is the only player in our team capable of collecting the ball with his back to goal and turning. He takes risks and whilst they do not always come off he is our only positive presence in the middle. Roca just generally passes sideways and backwards. Low risk but presumably that is his job to just recycle the ball.
