1-1 final score, we had the possession, they had the chances. Some excellent defending kept them at bay and we had alate goal chalked off for offside I think

Well done to the boys. Just shows our academy is good enough already. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 7:43 am The 18's beat Sheff U on pens in the FA youth cup to set up a Quarter final tie at home to Liverpool .... Marley Wilson's acrobatic strike got our goal

It's always been fine, nowhere near ready for the first team though and that's what we have now. A first team squad and an under 18's squad.. Bit of a chasm in between

Glad to see Perkins score. Hope he can get his act back together again. Be the guy that was pushing premier league football a year ago.

Agreed, sometimes going on loan has an adverse effect ..(See Joe Rodon last season) Perkins has a lot of qualityandrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 8:04 pm Glad to see Perkins score. Hope he can get his act back together again. Be the guy that was pushing premier league football a year ago.

That was the final 16 round game in the Premier League Cup ...into the QF's for us... There's a stunning double save from Christy that "won" the game for us at the end ..

I've not been impressed with Christy at all. But a fine save at the end there for sure. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 2:41 pm That was the final 16 round game in the Premier League Cup ...into the QF's for us... Cracking goal for Thomas. And Perkins showed his class on his 2nd goal.
Re: Leeds U21s
Classy goal from Thomas. Building quite a catalogue of goals, halfway liner for the 18s last year, that one in the game.
Thomas, Perkins & Allen need to start building some momentum now that Dean, Joseph, Summerville, Geldhart & Mcgurk have moved on from the 21s in the last 24 months

The 21's have been a bit of a reset this season. Most of senior members have gone. They seem to have made it a longer term project with most of the squad now coming from the 18's. Perkins of course is a bit of anomaly - there by default because he can't go anywhere else. Hoping he gets his head down and gets back on track. It will be interesting to see who emerges from the group now - Thomas, Crew, Debayo?
Re: Leeds U21s
Just watched the highlights. Cracking goal from Thomas.
Unbelievable double save from Christy at the death.
