Covid - Death rate in the USA hits the million mark.

Post by becchio bear »

It's got me.

Alf tested positive on Tuesday.

Due to work folk's compromised immunity systems I wasn't allowed into work the rest of last week.

Thursday night had weird leg aches and then through the night my nose was running like a tap.

Today Alf had his 5th day testing which we were hoping was going to be negative... nope still positive.

I took a test and not surprisingly tested positive.

Really heavy cold symptoms, aches, pains, runny nose, sneezing.

Quite a few social media mates saying the same.

Don't think it was a good move by Boris to tell people who test positive that self isolation is no longer a necessity!!

:bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Now doubt now that natural immunity is better than vaccination. Everyone's going to get it, basically, and that's the only way forwards.

I feel quite lucky that I haven't caught Covid at all so far and I was out working every day from the first through to the last lockdown. Nearly all of my workmates have had it although I know for a fact some hadn't and just fancied a week or so off. The company doesn't ask for proof or anything. I just wry smile. Each to their own. Going for my booster later this week. I was a latecomer for jabs. Hope you and yours get well soon BB.

Exactly, no one ! As the establishment know who is next as long as they do what they are told

For most it's no worse than a shitty cold. I was rough for 4-5 days and then fine despite testing positive for the full 10 days.
So glad I didn't lose my sense of taste though, I would have hated that.

It doesn't take away the fact that our country is in a right mess. Unfortunately politicians are in politics for power & to line their pockets.

Anyone who votes Boris & that bunch of uncaring twats in the next election needs to give their head a good shake, even though the alternatives are not great.

My Mrs (a staunch tory voter in the past) & I are comfortably well off so in reality we should be glorifying the tories, no chance of that as we recognised the immense problems & the greed of this current government. The affluent Rishi Sunak brought up in a mansion in North Yorkshire won't be searching for the next penny to pay for bills, then we have Boris on his fourth wife & his eight children lapping it up like the deceitful man he is.

What a complete & utter mess!

Had it at the beginning of March.

Headache and temperature for a couple of days, that's it.

Wish I'd listened to all the shouty, self-righteous people on here, demanding I have three vaccinations, instead of following the actual science on natural immunity.
