Leeds v Bolton - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Bolton are the visitors to Elland Road on Good Friday :

Leeds are looking for only their second victory of 2018
Bolton unbeaten in their last three matches
Bolton lost only one of their last five
Leeds have lost three of their last five

Boltons recent form has taken them six points clear of the drop zone thanks to draws at the Sheff Wed & Reading as well as a win against Villa.

Leeds are without Saiz and Dallas are injured so it looks like we only have Pablo to pull the strings.
Lets hope Pontus returns from Sweden injury-free

Hecky got his excuses in early, there in good form and stuff blah.

No excuses, no good form nonsense.

They have 3 wins in 10 and average only just over 1 point per game.

Beat them at there place when they were far higher in confidence having just been promoted.

We had no Vieira, Forshaw, Saiz or Jansson that day.

There best player by a mile was Gary Madine, he's gone.

Pretty much agree, we should have also bought Madine
Rumour has it Saiz is on the way back and could well play, we should win this game no excuses, a part from the FL making sure one of their dodgy refs runs the game.

Usually I’d say an easy win for us but how we’ve been playing a point would be lucky

Who needs a dodgy ref against us when we have PH as our manager?

Looks like an old photo to me as Samu clearly has possession of the ball and Heck's sole tactic is to focus on giving the ball away so we can try to win it back. Unless Samu was about to launch it somewhere aimlessly.

Hecky would go up a bit in my estimation if he picked this team.

. . . . . . . . . . BPF. . . . . . . . . .
Bera . .Jansson. .Penny . .Pearce

. . . . . .Vieira . . Forshaw . . . .

Alioski . . .Hernandez . . . Grot.

. . . . . . . . .Ekuban . . . . . . . . .

Wiedwald, De Bock, Halme. . Phillips, Saiz, Lassie, Clarke.

Would prefer he tried a youth player over Penny but wont happen, thatd be greedy, so Penny is a must. Cant see him starting Clarke and Pearce so give Grot the start he earned and stick with Ekuban, an eye on next season now, Lassie wont be here Ekuban will so let him have the matches.

Cant see him starting Saiz with him just back training last day or so, Pablo the experienced head with the pacey Ekuban, Alioski and Grot looking to feed off of Hernandez intelligence.

Still think Vieira and Forshaw is the partnership in midfield we need to build around, Halme we know is fit and wasnt with the u23s or u18s so perhaps he is with the 1st team.

And if Pablo tires or any of the front 4 are having an off day we have Lassie and Saiz to call on, or Jack Clarke who has shone for both the u18s and u23 this season.

If they train by playing against those pink plastic things no wonder we get non-plussed against opponents that move :)

Maybe if we had one of those pink things manage us this season instead of TC we'd be top 6 by now

Picked up an injury v Millwall second game in I think, that and Zahore finding form has pushed him down a bit. Still looks a bit of a bargain at 5 M and Cardiff ain't hurting for forwards ..

Assumed he wouldn't be starting.

If he does he starts wide imo, Pablo has earned the right as our form player these last few months to play his best position.

Evening Everyone,

Here is my team

------------------Peacock-Farell-----------------
Hassanyeh-Jansson-Pennington -Pearce
----------------Viera----Forshaw----------------
Alioski--------------Pablo--------------Cibicki
----------------------Lasogga--------------------

Here is my thinking.
Ekuban was absolutely useless 2 weeks ago as the sole man up front. I would actually question his attitude as far as effort was concerned too.
Halme is coming back from a two month injury. Had he been playing regularly for the under 23's, I would have banished Pennington back to Everton's reserves.
If Viera is fit for the England u20's albeit only 10 minutes, then he's fit to start for Leeds. He and Forshaw can be the backbone for Leeds next season.

I have picked Cibicki for balance, not because of Jansson's comments. I think that team flows.

Lastly I'd replace Berardi with Hassanyeh at right back.

Berardi has been disappointing. Perhaps some time on the bench is in order.

Who should have the Captain's armband - None of them deserve it tbh but suppose you'd better give it to Forshaw.

Evening Ell

Deja vu :-D

I'd start Saiz tomorrow, only player whom gives us the pace from box to box

Forshaw deserves the captain's armband imo !

Berardi has been poor of late, think Gaetano will start though

Don't think Beradi has been that bad, average over the last few games for me and has been close to the MOTM voting a couple of times in the last 3/4 games imo
