Roberts has the 2nd half of the season to save his Leeds career IMO. I do not have much hope for him as players come back his opportunities will diminish and he is only consistent at being inconsistent.

It's great that we're showing faith in our young talent by having them sit on the bench and watch the likes of Roberts, Rodrigo and James show them how to fail every match :ok:

Very forward thinking by Radz, Orta, Kinnear and MB

Investing in our future

Has had successful hamstring surgery.

Is however expected to miss the rest of the season.

Roberts season finished

Post by beer belly bert »

The Wales international has gone under the knife and expects to spend the next three months on the sidelines, meaning his campaign is over.

A club statement said: “Leeds United can confirm Tyler Roberts has successfully undergone surgery on a ruptured hamstring tendon sustained in last Saturday’s Premier League game at Leicester City.

Let's hope when he recovers he can find a Championship team to play for, and not already be in one

Marsch breaks his first player.
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Feel for Roberts, it’s not been his season at all and it’s not just him plenty of others have been below par but because he has been here a while and not produced much he has been targeted as the fall guy. I think it’s correct to say he is the most used sub in the league and it can’t be easy especially when more often than not we’re not playing well and losing for him then to come on and have any kind of impact is a big ask and would be for most players. I’ve been as disappointed with him as anyone and also said things in the heat of a match that wasn’t constructive. He’s still young and has talent just looks to have a confidence problem and who could blame him.

For his own good, come what may he needs to move on.

He's done JM a big favour there ! I bet MB felt very privileged to have his services every game, how ironic that when he leaves TR gets a season finishing injury. Thanks TR hopefully now your time is well and truly up.

He is a good lad Tyler.

Clearly does a lot of work for good causes.

Glad he gets recognised for that.

Tyler is expected to secure a loan move over the next week to the Championship.

Hull and QPR are two interested parties.

It is possible a permanent option will he included.

That is wise.
He scores 15 goals next season and his career lifts ooff at last.

Can't see Tyler scoring that many in any league, never been prolific, 18 goals in his 7 years career.
