Re: Brain teasers
Correct, well done
Though technically the answer is I
They are the first letters of the opening letters of the Greek alpabet
A for Alpha
B for Beta
etc
Next letter is iota, so the next letter in the series is I

Re: Brain teasers
BUT hang on, if this is in calculation order (multiplication, division, addition, subtraction), it's -
10 + (5 x 4) = 30
10 + (5 x 4) = 30

Re: Brain teasers
The following is a 'trick teaser'
The book describes trick teasers as:
Trick teasers appear to be difficult but once you work out the trick, they become easy. Be creative, and don't give up to quickly. Sometimes the answers require a different interpretation of the teaser.
Imagine that you are in a cage whose bars are 2 inches apart. There is only one door, and it is locked.
On the floor there are a saucer of water, and a bale of straw.
There is a very hungry lion in the cage with you.
How will you survive?

How will you survive?
1. You push your companion towards the lion.
2. You shoot the lion.
3. You unlock the door and get out.
4. You push the bale into a corner and hide behind it.
