I don't think he's the best footballer at the club but I don't think he's too far away. Top 5 are clear imo with not a lot of separation...I'd struggle to add a 6th, Bamford is useful but limited, I like Douglas a lot, think he's going to come back hard. Alio just didn't play where he should for me enough, Ayling still defensively suspect and lack calmness when he gets to the oppo's box...
Not seen enough of Shack or Clarke yet though both could be top 5 next season.

So it looks like a combination of Hernandez, Jansson, Phillips, Klich & Roofe are our top players
I would include Ayling in there as his big presence give us drive & energy going forward & we look a better side when Luke plays

Re: The Saturday Morning question - Your top 5 players at the club
So general consensus is that
Kiko
BPF
Douglas
Cooper
Forshaw
Roberts
Alioski
are all surplus to the team and can be replaced with immediate effect....

Re: The Saturday Morning question - Your top 5 players at the club
Needs more then talent to win things.
If I was looking at the 5 I would keep rather than specifically talent it would be Kiko, Klich, Alioski, Hernandez and then one of Roofe or Bamford (dependant on who fits Bielsa's system better). These 5 for me fit into Bielsa's system more than the others.
A Kikoesque keeper is needed to play the sweeper role.
Klich gives us an element of control and he now has a season of championship football under his belt so I expect improvement next year - also an ever present.
Alioski, you need his legs for the system and you know he will give everything. As a full back he was scoring goals as a winger he should be getting double figures without breaking sweat, okay his crossing is a bit erratic but the energy and goals far outweigh this (or defensive frailties if playing as a wingback). Like Klich was ever present but for the last few matches.
Hernandez - just has that extra quality about him and his goals and assists cannot easily be replaced.
Roofe or Bamford - both should do better than last season if they stay fit but I still expect Bielsa to be looking for a new striker as such whichever one of these Bielsa prefers to keep is vital as we need someone capable of getting 25+ goals and they both are.

Casilla
I'll be in a minority here, retain Kiko as our No.1 as he is Bielsa's type of keeper who knows his system & plays like a last defender at the back
Peacock-Farrell
Raw & still learning his trade as our 2nd keeper
Douglas
Needs to improve & find the form he had at Wolves, even when he had his best period his goals/assists ratio was poor. Douglas is not particularly quick which is a disadvantage playing as a wing-back if you have little to offer going forward. One of those players who may improve however I'm unconvinced right now
Cooper
In the main had a solid season but......he is not a leader plus there's always a major mistake in Coops, even after a decent season he can't make a poor Scotland squad which says it all.
Retain as our 3rd CB on the bench imo!
Forshaw
Never been a fan. I truly can't see what AF offers us, hasn't score a goal in the championship in years, his assists are minimal & like Cooper there is always a mistake in him in vital areas. Also very injury prone, doubt we get more than 20 games out of him. Move him on.
Roberts
At times he looked the part last season however as a No.10 Roberts should be scoring more goals, unless he can up his goals ratio considerably he is only a bench player for me
Alioski
Gives us so much energy which must inspire his teammates somewhat but Bielsa needs to decide on his best position, his defending is not great & going forward his crossing is erratic to say the least. As a winger I still think he is better than Harrison as he is likely to score more goals
