Trying to pick something other than Mt Fuji, as only two people will vote for it.

There are good albums by Red Sparowes, Autolux, Wovenhand, Supersilent, Marc Ribot... but MFDC is the best...

Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation - Succubus

Very very nice, but you're right it'll just be us two probably. Don't know the Ribot but the rest are top class too. Been playing a lot of Supersilent recently too

The Red Sparowes might have a slightly wider appeal, but it's not guaranteed. The Ribot is mostly acoustic jazz, very sparse... worth a listen.

Love tracks like Bateau where he goes off into his mad stuff, but still keeps the theme going. Big fan of his electric playing, but this album is a nice change.

Good to see you go a bit obscure for a change ... I'll need to listen to that one

It's a very good album, interesting takes on some jazz standards
