Re: Plymouth Argyle v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Apparently, Farke has changed our procedures for our away matches. Leeds players are staying in Devon tonight & travelling home tomorrow.
Re: Plymouth Argyle v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Just watched the LUTV highlights - Bryn in commentary states that this is the first time we have won 8 consecutive league games since 1931.
Re: Plymouth Argyle v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Perhaps a thread on how many before it ends - or is that tempting fate ?

Absolutely outstanding, I don't recall us ever winning 8 on the bounce in my days, and I've been going since 68, let's hope the wheels don't come off, although I find that highly unlikely.

It would be so Leeds to smash Leicester and then lose away to the dog botherers

Seems strange today given the early kick off. Made sense midweek. Wonder if it is more about it not being good for the muscles to be in a sitting position for a few hours straight after a match.
Re: Plymouth Argyle v Leeds Utd Match Thread
I remember us winning 10 in a row from August to October 1999, but that included Europe as well as league games. First time since 1931 we've won 8 in a row in the league.mentalcase wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 8:46 pm Absolutely outstanding, I don't recall us ever winning 8 on the bounce in my days, and I've been going since 68, let's hope the wheels don't come off, although I find that highly unlikely.

A chap we both know well has stayed in the same hotel as them at both Swansea and Plymouth

Same, since Raphinha i've been feeling like that.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 8:23 pm Don’t know about you, but when we get a free kick on the edge of the box at the KOP end (obviously it’s usually the second half we play that way) I just know nothing is going to happen.

I believe Farke changed the procedure after our defeats in December starting with the Peterbro' or Cardiff game
