We’ve put this game to bed, just 20 mins later than wanted.

One point to make. Credit to Plymouth, they play football in very good spirit. No cheating, diving, kick lumps out of the opposition. It’s refreshing to see.

Not to be the damp squid, but a bit concerned about how much this game, with ET and the wind and rain, is going to take out of the players for the weekend.
But still - I admire Farke for showing commitment to a cup tie and bringing on the big players when they equalized.

Always, always, play to win and give your best.

Great result in the end. Shame they didn't put it to bed earlier.

Hope Farke mentions the fans.

Deserved the win but we should never have let that get to extra time.
Impressed with Gelhardt when he came on, the sharpest he has looked for a long time.
The next game will definitely be televised whoever it's against.

FT Stats

xG*
Leeds: 1.49
Plymouth: 1.35

Possession
Leeds: 73%
Plymouth: 27%

Shots
Leeds: 26 total = 6 on target, 6 off target, & 14 blocked
Plymouth: 11 total = 4 on target, 5 off target, & 2 blocked

*Expected goals (xG) measures the quality of a chance by calculating the likelihood that it will be scored from a particular position on the pitch during a particular phase of play.

Good performance again this ... awful conditions against a really good home team nearly at full strength. 4 goals, 3 off the woodwork, los tcount of how many shots blocked. Concede a bit of as fluke goal as the wind played a large part or Meslier gets there easily...

Yes Malcolm he proper fatted that one. But it was a good chunk & run.

Yeah Archie has it in spades. Not even 18.
Man of the match for Gruev from Sky. Just as he took the corner with the OG. The Sky bloke was raving about him. So it’s Gruev as in Cruyff for the pronunciation

His split-second decision making with the ball might be the best on the team, with the exception of Geo. His ability to use his body to shield the ball and turn the opposing player whichever way he wants his amazing.
