We miss you when you're not here, liggy.

You bring much happiness, and for that I'm grateful. I will treasure your puffin recipe always.

Au revoir, Liggy

Post by John in Louisiana »

Sadly, Liggy took to these pages under another topic to let us know he's entered palliative care.

This news makes me very sad, indeed. Liggy's posts invariably brought a smile to my face. I've missed him a lot lately as his health declined. I'll miss him more now.

Sending warmest wishes out to you and all your loved ones, Liggy. You have made a lot of lives a little brighter for your presence.

I spent my career in the restaurant industry and am always on the lookout for new recipes. Here's Liggy's recipe for puffins; I make it whenever fresh puffins are available in the grocery store:

Throw a pair of puffins straight into a pan of Northumbrian olive oil
Add mushrooms and onions if they try to fly
Bash the little fookers
Now reduce the stock and throw in some Razor shell this will allow the flavour to flourish
A little tip here put a bath towel over ya frying pan
Incase the puffins get a had
Have ya greggs stottie at hand throw the little buggers straight in.....enjoy

Always wore his heart on his sleeve. Wishing him, his family and friends all the very best during these distressing times.

My thoughts are with you and your family, liggy 🙂

Your humour and courage in the circumstances faced are hugely admired.

As others have said your posts (when I could understand them 😄) were often a source of amusement and laughter.

Liggy mate, I didn't have a fuckin clue what you were on about half the time, but like others, you made me laugh out loud many times.
The forum will be a poorer place without you.
Farewell mate, my thoughts are with you.
