Good
16 decent passes
3 excellent passes
3 ball recoveries
3 interceptions
3 excellent passes
3 tackles
3 defensive clearances
2 defensive headers
2 blocks
2 runs
1 turn & swivel

Bad
1 poor passes
1 lost possession
1 awful shot over the bar

Once again the lynch pin of our team, if we had 11 Ampadu's, we'd skate the league, outstanding!

9/10
Not sure about that unless he is good in net and possesses a better shot than we have seen so far. Cracking player in the DM role and I honestly think if we had him last year we might have stayed up.

Farke & Ampadu & we'd have finished mid-table, we certainly wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

Those Johnny foreigners would have experienced Bielsa-style training last season under Farke's stewardship, not been given days & afternoons off courtesy of Jesse Marsch.

I was as big a supporter of Marsch as anyone, but I can’t argue with any of that.

The farther away we get from him, the plainer it is what an abject failure he was. No wonder he can’t find a job.

Ampadu is already showing consistency.

Raphinha.

Possibly Willy because of the fee, still unproven as of yet.

Those who do, are obviously not watching Ethan's consistent displays.

He's a steal and a class above in the championship. Like Adams last season vital to the functionality and progress of this side. Without him we would be significantly weaker. He is the key to success for me.

And full credit to him choosing to drop down a division to play for a team that wanted to buy him and a manager that wanted him. Very easy for him to have stayed at Chelsea and looked to either go out on loan again to a top flight team and wind his contract down.

Not people not rating him as such but saying Adams was better.

I think Ampadu oozes class and is exceptional in his creativity from the back, and he still has upside. I rate him more highly than Adams
