I'm so old that I remember watching Nationwide and they identified that The Police had released a single in honour of our favourite presenter.

You will never get that one out of your head now Leon :?

Saw XTC open for the Police back in 1980 or '81. Truly memorable show.

I guess so mate, I think I remember she was quite a cutie back in the 70s. Makes me quite nostalgic thinking about Look North and all the great TV programmes then

Message in a bottle
Every little thing she does is magic
Can’t stand losing you.

Loved The Police, we used to sing “Guinness in a Bottle” on the dance floor.

And legend has it that a well-known scamp stopped by an army foot patrol in Armagh back in the day, asked if he had a police record, replied “ Yes, Walking on the Moon.” 😁

Big fan of XTC after hearing 'Making plans for Nigel' on John Peel in'79. Made some great albums. Drums and Wires still one of my all time favourite albums.

As for the Police,
1 Message in a bottle
2 Roxanne
3 Can't stand losing you
