Re: January Transfer Rumours And Squad Discussion
Alan Nixon (Sun Journo) reporting Dan James is in Leeds right now awaiting his medical.
Nixon is a bit hit and miss but he did report the loan thing very early before anyone else this morning (although he seems to have got the fees wrong).

So am I, Valverde is absolute class.
Real Madrid signed him on a 5 year deal when he was 15 years old.
I'm hoping but realistically doubt it, his worth 9 million and is only 19

Hope you are not crying because we didn't sign Hogan, a player who has scored 7 goals in 56 matches for Villa (0 in 6 this season) and presumably is so far down their pecking order that even Dean Smith who was his former manager at Brentford doesn't want him.
His career record of 78 goals from 204 matches is greatly flattered by 21 goals in 27 appearances for Woodley Sports (I have played at their pitches and had no idea they even had any non league side), 12 further goals for other non league clubs and 17 in League 2. So his real career stats comprise of 28 goals in 89 matches at Championship level over 4 1/2 years.
No doubt will score the winner now against us.

Bugger, was always a pie in the sky dream but he is the sort of player we need, a Baker/ Saiz replacement.

Not at all, I wouldn't want Hogan anywhere near ER
My point was the Blunts allow a player to leave but had a replacement in hand, whereas we let players go, scratch our heads in confusement, think about it & then make do as we've already done so three or four times this season

It has to be extensive, how else it is going to injure him so he can't play for 7 weeks??
Re: January Transfer Rumours And Squad Discussion
Hopefully we get the James deal over the line, if we do, can’t think of many teams in the Championship with a better transfer window than us. A well run club, top of the table, how times have changed!
