Re: Playlist over the last week......
Not long in, having been out this evening to see Kelly Jones, Stereophonics front man (and well known LUFC fan !!) on the Cardiff date of his solo tour at St. David's Hall (which is an absolutely cracking venue to see a band, the acoustics are brilliant and it puts any of these 'new' Motorpoint Arena type venues to shame in terms of sound quality).
Very, very good gig with some stuff solo stuff, lesser known and rarely played Phonics numbers, a couple of covers and some well known Phonics hits to round off. Really enjoyed it
Although the wife was supposed to go with me, she decided that she rather go and see Take That who were on in the Millennium (actually now the Principality) Stadium tonight with a friend (given they bagged free tickets ).
All happening in the 'diff today, what with England v Bangladesh on at Sophia Gardens in the Cricket World Cup

I'm not a great Stereophonics fan, my football mates like them as they enjoy all that indie scene. Have a couple of their albums but only a few of their songs appeal to me

My daughter put on a gig in Tunbridge Wells in February. She got Jamie Lenman to agree to headline. Storming show.
The original TWAT. The one and only real TWAT.
