Point is he's a ways away from pushing for a first team place...Blazes over there again for the second time...seems a waste.

We sort of stumbled over the line in the end but a win is a win. No apparent injuries and players who haven't been playing got a game so all is good.
Thought Saiz was excellent till he went off.

Baker maybe, Bamford should be starting soon at 7M

Got stretched second half and we gave them a sniff, Baker looked full of running for the 90 and Shackleton did well, Bamford took his goal well but looked a few weeks short of being at full throttle.

Random thoughts

Ayling looked awkward left side of CD
Shackleton looks one footed
Harrison is raw, talented but not ready
Blackman not far behind BPF but I think he is behind
Bamford looks good, maybe not Roofe good though.

Thought Jansson looked a but dodgy.

Start him vs Rotherham though imo, he needs games and better to start vs teams we should beat.

Indeed.

Did well Shackleton . . Looks like he should be enjoying his summer holidays though.

I was watching the game and i saw many players play well for being a reserve team! Shackleton and Pearce played just as good as anyone else! For youngsters they are technically great, great prospects for the future!

Yep - of those who hadn’t started in the league all looked more than capable of coming in and doing a job if needed, good to have that pressure of quality on the bench.
