Saw them maybe 12 years ago here in Belfast, really good live act and Huey Morgan is a very accomplished guitarist. If they make it this far, I'll be there!

Agree 100%. I'm learning to play at the moment (at the tender age of 48). Would love to have even a tenth of what he has.

New Daughter album out today. Just streamed it on Spotify. Think it might take a few listens to truly appreciate it. Perhaps not as immediate as the debut. Good stuff though.

Interesting thing with Blackstar. I streamed it last Friday, as my interest had been pricked by BBC Four doing a review. I also thought I hadn't bought a new Bowie album in years (forgetting I actually bought The Next Day is ASDA when it came out and subsequently lost it). I thought, when listening "this is actually really good but very bleak and dark sounding". Obviously, on first listen I didn't really take in much of the lyrical content but thought to myself it would definitely be my next purchase. Monday, we get the news about Bowie's passing and I listened again. I genuinely think it wil be considered another Bowie masterpiece in a few years. It's not immediate by any means but it's the most bleak, yet beautiful goodbye.

Enjoy mate. I'm not going this tour, sadly. Saw them supporting Sigur Ros at the Eden Project in Summer 2013, without knowing much about them. They were absolutely brilliant and so lovely and humble. Genuinely bemused and touched at how much the crowd liked them.

Thanks Durly, only seen them do live stuff on tv which has always sounded good, so hopefully it will be a good show.

I just know i'm gonna love Blackstar as it is of an acquired taste & shall need several listens before the whole album clicks together for me. As you say Durly this final album will become a classic in years to come. Bowie has cutting-edge so many other musicians could never command, he is probably my favourite artist of all-time, certainly in my top three, his songs will live with me forever more !
