Re: Happy Birthday to our resident little old man
I'm 9 years older than you Leon and the strange thing is I'm still just upper middle-aged. It's all in the mind (and exercise) mate, as I'm sure you're well aware.. I'm sure that describes you too, except that you're still middle middle-aged. Happy Birthday mate - I hope you (and your lovely wife) l...

Re: Real Madrid v Manchester City
If Aguero had managed to get that volley about 10 inches lower at the end it would have been a different result, but neither team deserved to be where they are from the lack of passion and commitment shown. The only semi-finalist worth a rat's ass is Atleti - yes they were defensive but never boring...

Ah well, I guess the results weren't as important as some people said they might be.

Re: Real Madrid v Manchester City
Citeh looked OK without ever being good.
Apart from the one volley where Aguero shot just over the goal, they didn't do much, but Real weren't that much better tbh.
Damp squib of a game.

I agree Swan - I was cheering Atleti on - Munchenscum out!
I hope Atleti win the cup whether they play Citeh or Real.

Re: Leicester are going to do it.
In fairness manure played well but Vardy was certainly missed yesterday. Ulloa didn't try to play the same way at all. Another tale of 2 penalties - neither given so cancelled out, but Drinkwater sending off not good. Leicester didn't have their upbeat scampering without Vardy and looked very nervy ...

John, there is another variable in the differences between the US and the UK which hasn’t been mentioned in this thread because many people in the UK don’t realise how lucky they are – we should all bless the name of Aneurin Bevan. In the UK, you get free health care (with all its imperfections, inc...

If anybody would be interested in looking at the attendances by game for the 3 years I could post that too - I just didn't want to clog the system if it's not needed.
