Re: Our strikers....
All of his goals this season have been really good finishes, not tap ins or penalties. Once he gets this season out the way, he'll be a monster next season, sadly it won't be for us. I said the exact same thing about Wood and I was right. Yeah I saw a player in Wood. His first season was decent to ...

Re: Our strikers....
Interesting how many people on here were singing PH's praises and saying how he was getting the best out of Lasogga in the first few matches of PH's reign. Obviously nothing to do with the fact Lasogga had gotten over his injuries and had probably gotten more settled with his homelife with his miss...

Re: Player Of The Year 17/18.
Part of me thinks that nobody really deserves it. Pablo's the best of the bunch but he still hasn't had a "great" year. Coming up with a shortlist must have been really difficult. Roofe doesn't get in the side at full strength. Alioski had a brief hot spell but has been cold for months. S...

Re: Paul Heckingbottom
Heck, I'm changing my opinion too. Heck I miss the excitement of regularly winning matches in league 1 and think PH is the man to get us back there - heck we may even end up winning that football league trophy that eluded us last time. That's when I knew your mate had to go, when he went full stren...

I've never known an owner play up to the meatheads so much.
Even though the badge got a massive negative reaction they've carried on doing it, they can't help themselves.

Re: Our strikers....
The sad thing is Lasogga isn't even that bad player, it's poor coaching and loss of confidence. I guess when you're dropped to the bench for someone who can't score it won't be good for your morale. It's something like 10 goals in 20 starts I think, which really isn't bad at all. I'd fancy him with...

Re: The Championship 17/18 - Neves volley
And yet it's the opposite in the Premier League where the foreigners are talked up and British managers run down, apart from poor Arsene.

Re: The Championship 17/18 - Neves volley
Rowett looks bad at the moment, but they could still end up finishing in the play-offs and going up and then he's a genius again. The hype surrounding him seems to have come from him being sacked at Birmingham and them going into freefall under Zola. It's similar to what's happened with us going int...

Re: Paul Heckingbottom
Warnock proved that he came only to take the piss. Darko had been catastrophic the time he had been at Sturm Graz. The fans loved to se him go. That we even payed for getting him...whatever. Rosler wasn`t a good coach. Heavy metal-football, my arse. But the one we should have kept was Monk. He was ...

Re: Aston Villa v Leeds - Team/News/Reports/Ratings
20 goals from our main strikers is average & not good enough if you want success. 2 goals from our back-up forwards is feeble ! Heckingbottom is the one who keeps playing Ekuban. Grot has hardly played, he's only had one start and he keeps getting played out wide. My point is that Heckingbottom...

Re: Paul Heckingbottom
So you say: sack and try to get lucky. Or you believe Heck is one of the worst aroud. I find your Approach ridiculous: when was the last time we sacked a Coach and got something better? I believe Heck is one of the worst around. It's not my approach to keep sacking managers. I'd have kept Warnock, ...

Championship 10 goals - Lassoga 10 goals - Roofe 01 goals - Ekuban 01 goals - Grot Only 22 goals out of the 54 our strikers have netted The top eleven clubs have scored more goals than us We haven't got a goalscorer in the top 15 championship goalscorer table Ex-players Mo Barrow & Matt Smith h...

Re: Aston Villa v Leeds - Team/News/Reports/Ratings
That is because they are not very good Clive How have we scored any goals then? 41 in 30 under Christiansen. 13 in 13 under Heckingbottom. I don't know why but I get the impression that they're better than the manager is making them look, and it doesn't help when he doesn't play them all at the sam...

He had a point, though.
Fergie was as classless as you can get.

Re: Alex Neil
I'm not totally convinced with him re Norwich with him getting promoted but then relegated - however a lot depends on what he learnt from the experience and if he is a better manager for the experience. His time in Scotland was excellent though. Sean Dyche got relegated with Burnley and came back t...

I've gone for 'sack him now' seeing as 'shoot him' isn't an option.

They want Jansson and Saiz sold and are excited about being linked with Barnsley players. Must be the younger ones who've only seen us in Champ/League One. At least I'm old enough to have seen the O'Leary era, we'll never see that again sadly. It's not just the younger ones, there are just s...
