Re: What is the point in persevering with Victor Orta?

Just shows the short term view this board has, radz tweet last week and orta yesterday somehow think themselves vindicated after 2 good results, one of which was an aberration and the other despite a good result was a disgrace we were ever 2 goals down in the first place - we get a result at spurs ...

Re: What is the point in persevering with Victor Orta?

Victor Orta statement “I would like to say sorry for my reaction after the game yesterday,” he said. "I don’t want to make excuses, but in the end I am human. The past few months have been very difficult for everyone at the club. I have been subjected to a lot of abuse in person, in writing an...

Re: January 2023 Transfers and Squad Discussion

Jesse wanted a striker all summer and has reiterated that since. The board probably will have a different view (save money) but Jesse again has reiterated in his quote posted further up that we have to improve every window. I can fully fully see Harrison being sold for someone in the De Ketelaere/G...

Re: January 2023 Transfers and Squad Discussion

So if we buy a striker we have Joffy knocked down to 4th or 5th in the pecking order.
Then there is Joseph and Perkins.

New guy
Rod
Bamford
Joffy/ Gnonto
Perkins/ Joseph. Greenwood.
Dean

Cant see it somehow, unless we sell someone. Noone wants Bamford. Only one who would fetch anything is Rod.

Re: Carabao Cup v Wolves (Unofficial match thread)

I'm mostly OK with your line up. But do think that Adams could use a rest. Didn't Marsch say on the Bamford injury that he'd be back for Spurs? Id missed what Marsch said re Bamford. Adams, I was working on a couple of premises really. He is the only proper defensive screen at the club who is fit a...

Re: Jack Harrison- Under threat? Heading for the exit? What does the future hold?

I'm all for giving players a chance, but those 2 especially have had more than their fair chances , bamfraud had 1 good season behind closed doors, he was shite when we bought him and continues to be shite, he might do a lot of running, but I'd rather have a CF that actually scores, why can't he cl...

Re: January 2023 Transfers and Squad Discussion

I still don't get the Struijk for centre back thing, he was poor last few games he played there and it affected his confidence. I just got to wtch the game back without having to renew the stream every 5 minutes and he's really the only player I got wrong in my ratings, he was immense at LB today, ...

Re: Leeds Utd 4-3 Bournemouth - Post Match Debate

Leo is another one knocking at t' door, he's had injuries as well as an op recently (appendix) I think. Big, strong and confident, looks composed for a big fella, commands from the back like CC, we have some strong talent but will we use them ?? He has played less than three games for the seniors a...

Borrowed from elsewhere: Watching Jesse Marsch on Leeds’ touchline packs a season’s action into 90 minutes On the other side of Spurs away next Saturday, Jesse Marsch will grant himself a short break on the other side of the world. Re: Leeds Utd v Bournemouth Match Thread - Bamford misses out due to injury

What strengths? The strengths of a player who can contribute a hell of a lot more when he isnt made to play in a shoe box The strengths of a player who can slide a pass from out wide to a player who is on the move with either a late or early run into the box This set up is killing Harrison Leon

Pos. Best bit was Gnontos run.

Re: Leeds Utd v Bournemouth Match Thread - Bamford misses out due to injury

Intentionally stayed off the forum during the game because I was just plain angry at it all. We should have been 4-1 down at half time. It was just plain awful. We get cut apart too easily and our defensive position was woeful. I thought we should have set up with 3 at the back. But obviously that ...
