Re: Norwich vs Leeds (team selection and rating)

As it can`t be down to the quality of the keepers it must be down to how good we and/or the opposition played. A bit of luck or bad luck plays ist part too...but never to such an extent that it would cause such stats. When I talk about luck I'm talking about personal luck for the goalkeepers, which...

Re: Keep, release or send out on loan

Morning Oscar, its interesting that almost everyone wants to get rid of Cooper. Has he been that bad this season or does his face not fit? Cooper and Shaughnessy are fine. I don't understand all the stick Cooper gets, but that's Leeds fans for you. It's weird that people say Heckingbottom should st...

Re: Norwich vs Leeds (team selection and rating)

Still no clean sheet for Peacock-Farrell.

Lonergan only had one in that spell where he played, too.

I think Wieldweld has 12 this season. Is there something subtle in his game that makes a difference or is it just down to luck?

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

When I saw hime two years ago, he couldn't kick a ball, and rarely reached the halfway line. I don't know who has been coaching him, but his kicking and distribution in general is now superb. https://www.leedsunited.com/teams/coaching-staff/65/marcos-abad Orta's guy, he's younger than Lonergan and ...

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

My Dad used to play in net and said he preferred playing for sh*t teams as it kept him busy. He'd get player of the season every year but the teams he played for won nowt. When a keeper plays well it really is a double edged sword. Certainly a lot of credit to BPF though and has done his chances of...

Re: Championship's Most Expensive Squads

Which obviously means the opposite is true. There are teams below us that have spent more. I think the table offers some optimism. It says that we're not really underachieving and puts credence in Orta's long term plans. It would be nice to be higher up the spending table, but we probably have the ...

Re: Championship's Most Expensive Squads

I think if you're going to do spending to decide if money matters it has to be a seasonal metric you base how much has been spent on the first team.. .. Clubs like Sunderland and Hull will just have expensive squads because they have players who cost a lot of money a few years ago in the Premier Le...

Re: Championship's Most Expensive Squads

This survey ranks us as about par for the course. We were 10th in terms of spending, so 12th in the table is not a bad reflection. https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-championship-transfers-money-14543841 We're 9 points off 10th and 10th is only 3 points off 6th. 6 teams ar...

Re: Orta on his way

1. - Because I cannot predict the future and he could have improved, I wasn't a fan of signing a Cyprus league manager to start with though 2 - Now I'm repeating myself, he seems a better coach to me but both look suspect as managers. Heck at least would make a good coach imo. 3 - I'm not intereste...

Re: Orta on his way

Not really I'll be critical when the time is right. It's not yet I would have given TC the season, thought him useless but would have given him the season. I don't like agenda and you've bought it here, so all I'm doing is redressing some needed balance. You'll notice I'm not agreeing with the mass...

A good example what I mean when I say that most opinions are based on a) wrong or insufficient facts and stats and their interpretation (correct interpreted stats could be called facts), b) the self-perception as a person with superior knowledge, claiming that it must be obvious for everyone.
