The season Monk was in charge I thought he was excellent, not been the same player last and this season not a criticism by the way. We lack height without him but would give Shackleton a go on the evidence of prior appearances.

3 defeats in 4 but will still be top. All the teams we have struggled against have set their store to defend deep and look to catch us out and it works. We will have good and bad days just as everyone else will.

Looks a unit. Of what I have seen and read a good shot stopper plus
good on the ball. Just hope he can command the area coming for crosses like the old days. Seems something of a lost art.
