Re: Gigs (not that one!)

Had tickets to see The English Teacher tonight, advance purchase, never thought Leeds would be in the play offs… oh well, hopefully catch them another time. Come on Leeds!

Re: NAP of the Day

BoPedro ran on well for third, got about 17-1 on him, he probably needs longer, he was stuck behind a wall of horses.

Please, please no penalties, I couldn’t bear it, think I would rather lose! Come on Leeds, finish it in the 90, think of our hearts.

I would be tempted to sub Gnonto simply to avoid him being sent off.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 7th May) Former Chelsea forward on Leeds radar

Pink used to be associated with boy children, due to its connection to hunting pinks and military uniforms - boys were little men and pink was seen as a little red. Pale blue was deemed a girly colour, largely due to its association with the Virgin Mary / Madonna and her blue robes. Every day is a s...

Damn, I’ve got tickets to see The English Teacher at the Irish Centre that Thursday night, wonder if the match will be on in the bar?

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion

I’m fairly resigned to staying in the Champs next season, we won’t go up playing like this and if we do, we will be taken apart by Prem teams, we won’t be able to afford the marquee players we need. Sadly. Just hope we can hang on to Rutter, Joseph and Firpo(!) and rebuild a solid side as well drill...

Bygum flying down the right, and lunatic Firpo like a riderless horse in the National on the left.

Should be some craic this.
Love the Firpo analogy Kenny. Much appreciated.

I’m in Majorca and all set to buy my match pass, only to find that it’s not available in Spain. Gutted, just stocked up supplies from the AI bar! Commentary it is then. Bugger.

Re: Leeds United Song - Or Is It?

The PRS royalties go to the writers rather than the performer, who were the same in both cases, basically Steven’s and Reed licensed the tune to as many outlets as possible! Nice one. And nice find.

Phew, that was throwing five forwards on at 85 minutes, but this time I was lucky. Well done everyone, IRL I only bet in pennies and this was much more stressful!

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion

In retrospect a point would have done today, everything is so tight. Wouldn’t have subbed Robert’s, Greuv and Gnonto as they were playing well, I would have taken off Jimmy, his head seems to be elsewhere. But we are where we are. I don’t think Farke will be sacked quickly, the accounts show that we...

Re: Today's Games

The beeb's usual standard of inept reporting. The pass was woefully overhit forcing Bundu out a lot wider than he needed to be. It was only Wout's poor defending that allowed Bundu to get come back in from by the touchline and shoot. Ah but Forshaw did his best, within his limited ability, he’s Lee...
