Re: Jesse Marsch- Faith restored?

Does the law cover peripheral vision? I thought it was line of sight. If you look at the shot from behind the goal, which I think is more important as it’s the view Mes has, then the player is not in his direct line of sight. Peripherally yes but not directly. I agree that sometimes something that ...

Re: Next Manager

The written word is miles easier to work out what it means. The pronunciation of words, and speed with which they talk, was what I found hardest. You’re not wrong. As I said, I started learning Spanish to understand Bielsa’s press conferences, but the speed at which he talks it was impossible. I di...

Re: Your favourite moments of pleasure in 2022

Jill & I paddling in the sea on our walk to Bamburgh Castle was one of our favourite moments of the year, the water was azure blue, the sun was shining & we more or less had the sandy beach to ourselves. The view of Bamburgh Castle from the beach is stunning. I regularly tell the photograph...

Re: Next Manager

I do indeed, myself and my daughter both. Good little app, but I agree re the change in format. Interestingly, I was watching a stream of an episode of Andor and it had Spanish subtitles. I surprised myself by how much of them I could recognise, though I've no doubt had the stream been in Spanish, ...

Yes mate, do you use it ?.

They’ve changed the format now, I preferred the old format as I find I don’t learn as much now.

Overall though, it’s enjoyable. I’ve found I learn and remember individual words quite easily, stringing those words together is the problem :(

I started learning Spanish because I wanted to try and understand Bielsa, I still try and learn a bit every day now. The least I can do is give our fella ‘over the pond’ a bit of leeway :)

Personally, I don’t think Rodrigo really knows what he is doing, just caught up in the moment. I’m sure he will make an apology to the steward.

As for Gnonto

Re: Patrick Bamford

Two finishes of the highest order from Paddy. Also, his link-up was brilliant last night Our No.9 is back. I haven’t watched the goals back yet, other than on the big screen and my eyes aren’t so good these days but they looked quality finishes from where I was in the ground. Fingers crossed, the l...

Re: Next Manager

To try and answer your question Sara. I think Jesse is like most Americans. We tend to be open and accessible people. We are not closed off. Which can be very unsettling to people from other countries where people are much more guarded. I have had an opportunity to travel a lot in my life. And this...

I’ll remember it forever mate, his little face lighting up when he saw us both.

Our second grandchild is due to arrive in July, hoping for something similar one day when we meet him or her.

Re: Leeds Utd 5-2 Cardiff City Match Debate

Just back, felt like a pre-season friendly in the ground (or mid season friendly v Real Sociedad / Monaco). Cardiff were simply outclassed, especially by Gnonto, then we bring on Bamford who I thought took his goals very well. I really do like Adams, just makes everything look so simple. A win is a ...

I stayed behind after the West Ham game to wave Klich off, get another chance to do it tonight before the Cardiff game.

Fair play to the club, realised their error and rectifying it as best as possible.
