Re: Swansea City v Leeds United Official matchday thread
Greatest respect intended but that first half hour was really poor. It reminded me of last season to some extent in that Philips gave the ball away multiple times. As the players look heavy legged, the movement that Bielsa needs for his system wasn't there. Add that to Swansea closing us down really...

That was awful defending. Really was. We're all over the place.

Re: Swansea City v Leeds United Official matchday thread
Can see this being an open game but the way leeds have been playing I can't see us not coming away with three points. We may struggle against teams who have little desire to attack as we saw first half against Rotherham. But Swansea won't sit back and as a result we'll have more room to play. This s...

Re: Last minute loan deal done apparently
What's this lad like then? I know he plays Centre midfield but that's pretty much it. I think we need someone who can tackle hard and win the ball. Settle the young lads down next to him. Murphy is not that man at present. With regards to a striker, we'll hopefully create more chances if we can cont...

Re: Huddersfield v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Wooton is a liability. He's not a dirty player by any stretch of the imagination. He is just not very good. I recall he was the person who gave the penalty away in the Capital One cup tie. Positionally he's poor and if you compare him to Beradi or Byram, he's so uncomfortable on the ball. I agree th...

Re: Has Steve Evans United The Dressing Room + the fans
Here is my two penneth: Leeds, for all the criticism this season have not been that far off being a good side. There have been glimpses of brilliance in all the games I've watched (barring the Blackburn game, which, if I'm honest was the worst display of football I've seen in quite some time...). I ...

What utter nonsense. Some of the views on here are nothing but revolting (I'm referring to 1964White in particular). Sterilisation? Don't be a moron mate. As mentioned in my previous post - there is plenty of money for other projects, as mentioned in my previous post, yet we are told that the only w...

Re: What is poverty?
Our lass lives in Seacroft. She overheard a conversation at the co-op before school (she works at a high school not far from there) and this lass was asked how many kids she was on now. She laughed and said ten. I get your point about it being a bigger problem than most believe. However it's the chi...

Re: How good is Sam Byram?
It's a shame that with the signing of three wingers, Sam cannot just slot into full back anymore. Beradi has more than proved capable of filling Sam's position. We should be looking to offload in January as he's not a winger, and he's not going to displace Beradi at Right Back. Saying that, you have...

Guiseley are a good side and have a really good set up. My mate is the manager of the under 21's team there and regularly reports back. Certainly a trip to be made if you have nothing else to do on a Tuesday night. Not over Leeds though.

Re: Leeds v Sheffield Wed - Team/Reports/Ratings
I thought Leeds looked solid at the back but looked slow and void of ideas for the first 60 minutes. When Murphy and Mowatt came on we looked to have more of an attacking threat. Adeyemi doesn't quite look like he's there yet. Maybe in a few games time I'll change my mind. I read somewhere on twitte...

They will. It's about perception of how things are right now. I know this is a football forum so I hesitate to go into political stuff too deeply. But things have drifted too far to the right in my eyes and things that used to be right wing are now seen as centre. Things that are now seen as right w...

Re: These stories rile me !
Immediately as soon as I read the article, I thought the same as Radebe - the tory government would have you believe that the majority of people on benefits are chancers like this. It's totally off the mark and while I think that certain aspects of the benefits system need to be reviewed, the people...
