Re: Play-off semi final Home tickets

Hi John, Yes, I’ve been on the site today, my reserved ticket was there waiting for me, so I’ve purchased it as normal. I should add, I didn’t take up the ‘auto cup scheme’ for season 23/24 (which this game is on relation to) which is why I’ve just been able to purchase my ticket as normal. I’m gue...

Re: Southampton post match discussion

Unfortunately, I've been unable to comment on the game, so as the weather is not looking good tomorrow down here in sunny Suffolk, I reckon we'll be spending much of the day in our apartment, which will give me the opportunity to watch a full replay of the shambles you all witnessed yesterday.

Well we finished high as I expected we would.

Jesse would be proud of this
How come are six players unmarked?

Once again, players at the back post left in oceans of space, four of them

A proper striker who was comfortable with either foot.

Yeboah didn't need service, he created his own goals.

100% mate  He was at the level of Benzema, Lewandowski, and whoever else you want to mention. What a gem he was  Somehow, Wilko & his staff found Yeboah, only for George Graham to come along & rub Tony's nose in the ground, and as a consequence gave us a season of boring football.

Very strange, the reason they'd have been no good to us coming off the bench, due to not being match-fit.

Re: New number 9

To be honest, there are only Europe's best strikers in modern football who have the quality of Tony Yeboah, that's how great he was in his brief spell at Leeds.

Re: New number 9

Great memories Leon  George Graham's team epitomized that "safe" approach, he'd perfected at Arsenal. We also had some great goalies in the past too ;-) Nigel Martyn being the best for me, but John Lukic and David Harvey were also solid goalkeepers. Unlike our strikers & keepers...
