About as much excitement as a five day test match, but the purists will no doubt say a job well done. If that is the case it makes me wonder why bother with two leg semi finals? It only benefits the team who came a fabulous sixth place.
Apart from gate revenue and tv money, obviously.

Do you mean that grass covered area where a football game was being played?YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 12:59 pm Somone has just tripped up in the Norwich pedestrian area, ref gave a free kick against Leeds

As a spectacle mind numbingly shite.
Better result for us.
Bout it really
Georgie as a 9 didn't work at all, at times Gray was the striker for some reason.
But result is best for us.
Norwich much worse away from home as well.
Then again not sure our lot cope with Elland Road either.
Who knows.
Still mystified by what Kamara does.
Gray so much happier further forward unsurprisingly

Obviously a terrible, drab affair but I’d have settled for that before the game.
See you there Thursday, should be some atmosphere

Win the 2nd leg and its a decent tactical performance from DF tbf.
Definitely set up today not to lose rather than win.
Given how defensively open we've been recently not the worst idea.
Hopefully a different setup at Elland Road.

Was tidy I suppose.
Definitely gives me Adam Forshaw vibes.

Normally, a 0-0 scoreline with the second leg at Elland Road would be an advantage to us.
But the team have crumbled under the pressure in the last two home games.

Aye
Definitely plaudits to DF for shoring up the midfield and defence. We'd conceded seven in our previous two matches, so that had to stop or we were already done.
Still very much in the tie, and he needs to go with a more positive and attacking approach at ER.
Joseph, or Piroe need to start. Maybe both, but that won't happen.
If he goes to just play safe then Norwich could easily nick it from a set piece, or on the counter.
So, go forward playing quick, incisive footy and we could have a comfortable win.
Depends how brave Daniel is?

He also was seemingly everywhere today…both sides and in the middle. Would love to see his heat map for this one. He showed his experience in that he “found the space”…where the ball was going in order intercept the ball, but also being wide open in order to receive the ball. He also was looking to make the dangerous forward through ball via one-touch play. Was our most dangerous threat offensively. Also, some of his dribbles had Geo vibes. MOTM for me today.

Simply as this for me. We will get ABSOLUTELY SPANKED in the PL if by some miracle we go up. I don't know how much we would be allowed to spend if we did manage to scrape up but it won't be enough. Boing Boing.

We offered nothing. Drab is an understatement.
Norwich were gash as well.

Boring for the fans but fair play, it worked aslong as we win otherwise people will say it was to safe.
Would expect a much braver setup 2nd leg.
The longer it is 0-0 nerves will grow and not sure these players or manager cope with a nervous or frustrated Elland Road.
Need an early goal.
But hope we still see Archie allowed to get forward.
Piroe or Joseph up front though, can argue about Piroe dropping or whatever but Rutter was far deeper

We probably do. Therefore it's only worth going up to get the money. Will be a turgid season with little to shout about. Then again...could surprise us all.

Heat maps in that.
He was tidy imo, took up some nice positions and kept the ball.
But it never really comes to anything.
He's very similar to Forshaw in that respect, very tidy and composed but it rarely ends in anything meaningful.
