Exceedingly clever.
Re: Whats the point of Kamara?
I think you’re clever. In the sense that you’ve suggested something that could never happen.Duncanmckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 27, 2023 3:50 pm Personally i would av said to bournemouth u can have adams but give us Billing and £5 million bought Elneny w the 5 and got barkely back on a free thereby getting a top quality midfield for nowt. I’ve always said I can fly to Manchester unaided.
How clever would that be.

Still being proven right years on.
Radz is a businessman - and knows nowt about football.
Orta is a fraud - and knows nowt about footballers.
Bert - A footballing mastermind that they both got lucky with, end of.
Timely member of a clique.

Exceedingly is a great word. Fair play.
It leaves the recipient in absolutely no doubt that you’re taking the piss.
“Do you like my coat”
“Yes. It’s an exceedingly nice coat”.
“How about my walk”.
“That’s exceedingly nice too”.

Per journalist Dean Jones:
"I really do feel like Kamara is going to be a good fit for Leeds. Looking at their squad and their team selections so far, I feel like having him as an option in the centre of the park is going to be a real asset."
"I know there has been a bit of an issue, reports over the price not being agreed, but the player is in a position where he is ready to make this switch."
"My information, as of Monday night, was that there were no issues and the negotiations were ongoing, so there is still real promise of that deal."

Re: Glen Kamara- Topics merged
Phil Hay on yesterday's The Square Ball podcast:
“I suspect they’re going to try and do two in the centre of midfield to give themselves bodies there and numbers.
“[Glen] Kamara’s obviously been linked for a long time now. The thing that interests me with Kamara or sort of makes me wonder is that he’s been up for grabs, I mean there’s no question that he leaving Rangers, the fee’s pretty affordable, he’s a good quality player without any doubt and I think he’d be a good addition to the squad.
“Although, he hasn’t been involved at Rangers at all so I don’t think he’d be coming in 100% prepped in the way that say [Joel] Piroe was having had games with Swansea.
